1:30 the way I understand it is that nishiki was always this strong Chihiro just found a better way of using that he was forced to find coz he couldn't move nicely
i think that instead of like using nishiki as shoes so he can "run", he used nishiki as a crutch so he can atleast move despite all the pain he's going through. (with a lesser but still good speed buff)
It would be nice to see some villians that aren't getting one-shotted aside from Sojou. I also want to see some powerful characters that don't use the enchanted blades.
With a series like this, I think there's gonna be at least one character who uses their abilites in clever ways versus enchanted blade users and win. Kinda like an underdog after enchanted blades become prevelant.
In 16 chapters he cooked up and gave us a competent and cold villain who is interesting i dont think a shonen has done that yet (maybe besides zabuza,or mahito) That all being said SOJO ON TOP

I can see this coming up there with JJK. The mangaka just needs to fix his transitions with like flashbacks. To me it’s a little misplaced. Besides that, it’s has a lot of potential.

I mean if im feeling this way withing just 15 chapters imagine where the series will go 50-100 chaoters from now. If it survives the shonen jump guillotine that is lmao

I also think it’s that lack of shading on the faces that throws me off with the art. I’m loving the plot so with time I’m sure it’ll get even better
Kagurabachi is great but I have a few problems with it. 1) I know the swords are special but how can they be this busted? No one except Sojo hasn't been folded like lawn chairs in like 1 swing and when villains take temporary wins they feel Mickey-ish so I don't feel much tension. 2) I still believe Sojo has an ability not related to the sword but we haven't seen it, this might be his last fight so he might not have one. If he doesn't have one then it's a damn shame and it really doesn't make sense given his level of expertise and time with sorcery. 3) Why is Enten's ability hard to understand? Maybe it's the wording cuz that Nishiki explanation didn't make sense to me. Also, why is the abilities placing a burden on his body? I can understand fatigue but why it causes pain isn't intuitive. 4) Sojo cannot die here, killing one of the three big bads this early is just terrible given how interesting Sojo is, the knowledge he has and what his goals could be. 5) Chihiro has progressed way too fast, from damn near a nobody (he had 3 yrs of training but still) to matching Sojo who is one of the most important and strongest people in the story in a matter of days in story time and not even a year in real time, also this "understanding the ability" thing seems too vulnerable to the plot. Chihiro is in trouble but instead of thinking of outsmarting his enemy improving his base genryoku (if that is a thing) just give him a new way to use Enten to bail him out. It can too easily be abused. This manga has a lot of promise but these issues if not corrected early won't allow the manga to stay long.
You forgot some! 6) Power system, there is no power system. Like remamber that bomb guy how powerful was he exactly, shiva is strong but how strong is he from other's. There isn't even any ranking's like in one punch man. Seires like Jujutsu kaisen is spacial becous of it's power system ( Spacial grad, grad 1, grad 2...). It helps us understand where that charecter stand's and what to expect from him. Ranking is also mean's how deficalt it is to beat someone. When chihiro was fighting to resque her, I couldn't feel any tantion like how is he gonna beat them, can he even beat them. If we knew how strong were they we could have felt a little more tensed on that fight. 7) Only Chihiro's power is explaind properly and everyone else is doing radom sh*t. Like shiva hasn't lost a fight yet but we don't know what his power's are, I know he can teleport but what else. 8) The author is killing charecter's that no one care's about. Jujutsu kaisan do the same but atleast we want those charecter to live a happy life, like when a guy got cut in half ( you know who I am taliking about ) People gave him a real funeral. In kagurabachi the bomb guy died so what, his sister and mother died so what, char's mother died so what. Then chihiro's father died and I will be honest that was the only time it hurt, that's why most people liked the seires but if the the author couldn't bring that vibe again it's pointless to kill someone. 9) The author isn't makeing it 100% dark nor 100% happy, he is trying to do both ( like jjk ) but failed to make either of them. 10) It became popular overnight. This is similar to kaiju no.8 at first it was a masterpiece chapter 51 was it's peak after that it keep geting down. Things that became popular overnight can go down overnight as well, slow progress is the best progress. Jujutsu kaisen's first big fight yuji vs mahito happend on chapter 28 before that we were introduced with charecter's, and they did the world building. but here they are keep showing fight after fight no charecter devolopment except chihiro, no world building whatsoever. I compared it to jujutsu kaisen a lot because it has the same genre (Action, Fantasy, Dark, Shonen).

When ever they has a chance they start praising how great chihiro is honestly it's a bit cringe. Random thing's keep happening. Like that auction where the cloud guiger was suposed so to be auctioned, but why mention it when you won't use it. At that time I was excited that they gonna go there and steal it but sojo came out of nowhere and killed 3 charecter no one care about and start fighting chihiro ( I wasn't surpriesed rather disapointed ). Don't go on a stage with a loaded gun if you wont fire it. It's only 16 chapter but there's so many things to complain about. It will be one of those show's that people watch for action and forget about it. As I said this series is only populer becouse of action. There are hunderd's of action anime out there. The story is MID. And it hasn't done anything ground breaking yet. It's too early to call this series overrated or Great. The only good thing's I can see is it's art and action.
For your first point. Wasn't that the entire point of the cursed Swords? Weapons so op that they won an entire war on their own. Chihiros getting so much help trying to get them back because they're a terrible thing to have in the wrong hands. Also I agree that sojo definitely has some technique up his sleeve. I wouldn't be surprised if we find out he's actually a sorcerer due to how fast he moved when getting back the sword. Also I believe it was kinda (somewhat porrly) explained that the Swords feed off of the user's kinda soul energy. So the swords, while still restricted to what seems to be 3 base attacks for each, can change entirely based on the user's perception for that attack. Nishiki was what chihiro believed to just be a good cloaking attack. However once he considered the possibilities of what a blinding attack could do when paired with his broken body, he came to the idea of a nearly blunt attack that has to be used repeatedly while nishiki is active to have an effect but has little strain on the user. Also I agree that it's a bad idea to get rid of an amazing character like sojo so early. I hope it doesn't happen. And for the sojo vs chihiro part. Ya gotta remember that sojo is bleeding and bruised all over while chihiro is mostly if not fully healed because of char. It's unlikely chihiro could stand a chance against someone like sojo if he was at his best condition.

I know the swords' powers were enough to win the war but from what I'm seeing they should've said "quickly win the war" because only insane sorcerers can match someone who just had 3 years with a mystic blade. The only obstacle Chihiro has ever had as we know is Sojo, one of three most powerful (at least politically) sorcerers in Japan and Sojo has been shown to be capable without the sword but anyone else (especially the people Sojo employed because I believe they should be top shelf given they are employed by Sojo or at least not worthless) don't even pose a threat at all. I believe they are mystic swords not cursed ones (not really important ik). Ik Sojo isn't in his best condition but still, Chihiro was pretty much a nobody that had 3 yrs with 1 mystic sword is now matching an injured sorcerer who has defied the Kamunabe for years. Also Char didn't heal all his wounds, she just healed him enough to fight Sojo as said by the narrator.

I feel like he probably just appreciate the swordsmanship of the blades and that’s what’s helping him unlock the power… from what I’ve been seeing he already a battle menace!!! He seems like a good contrast to Chihiro as you can see in the last few panels sojo is very talkative and sounds like a guy you can have a good convo with but he is very cold in his actions. Chihiro doesn’t really like to talk and gives off a cold look but his actions are not only to collect his swords and get rid of evil but also save people. I think they work well as protagonists and entagonist.

And can't you feel that they are rushing it so much. Chihiro and sojo's fight feel's like the endgame of the series when it shouldn't. If fighting sojo feel like the goal then what about other fight's in the futuer ( I gonna be honest it feel's like the end of the seires ) It has incradible potantial, but also has a ton of problems that is incresing every chapter. It need to be resolved before it get's out of hand. Think about it what do you remamber when you think about one piece it has good action, interesting charecter's, interesting storyline, world bulding. What about Kagurabachi It has action......and? Action is someting that you watch and forget about it, the story is what stays with you ( like in one peice, naruto, attack on titan, jujutsu kaisen the list goes on ) It took luffy 500+ chapters to defeat kaido, that why it felt like an achivement. but if shojo get defeated in 7-8 chapters it wouldn't mean anything. Humbly gotta disagree, Chihiro and Char interactions have been great, Likewise for Sojo and Chihiro. But the art has been phenomenal throughout imo

Hope he won’t either. He seems like a good contrast to Chihiro as you can see in the last few panels sojo is very talkative and sounds like a guy you can have a good convo with but he is very cold in his actions. Chihiro doesn’t really like to talk and gives off a cold look but his actions are not only to collect his swords and get rid of evil but also save people. I think they work well as protagonists and entagonist.
He's such an amazing first villain that I hope not. I hope he's a reoccurring villain like frieza.
No it's not. That's yet to be determined. That you like it doesn't mean others will. Let's see how the story goes. It's still way too early to make sure a bold prediction. There are many that started strong but fell off

@@PyrexNemobeats Action is good but story is the most impotent. If they just keep leaving questions and doesn't answer them it won't be interesting anymore. And can't you feel that they are rushing it so much. Chihiro and sojo's fight feel's like the endgame of the series when it shouldn't. If fighting sojo feel like the goal then what about other fight's in the futuer ( I gonna be honest it feel's like the end of the seires )
It has incradible potantial, but also has a ton of problems that is incresing every chapter. It need to be resolved before it get's out of hand.
Think about it what do you remamber when you think about one piece it has good action, interesting charecter's, interesting storyline, world bulding. What about Kagurabachi It has action......and? Action is someting that you watch and forget about it, the story is what stays with you ( like in one peice, naruto, attack on titan, jujutsu kaisen the list goes on )
It took luffy 500+ chapters to defeat kaido, that why it felt like an achivement. but if shojo get defeated in 7-8 chapters it wouldn't mean anything.
Now it will be fixed in the futuer. But I hope it's not too late.

The problems:
1) Power system, there is no power system. Like remamber that bomb guy how powerful was he exactly, shiva is strong but how strong is he from other's. There isn't even any ranking's like in one punch man. Seires like Jujutsu kaisen is spacial becous of it's power system ( Spacial grad, grad 1, grad 2...). It helps us understand where that charecter stand's and what to expect from him. Ranking is also mean's how deficalt it is to beat someone.
When chihiro was fighting to resque her, I couldn't feel any tantion like how is he gonna beat them, can he even beat them. If we knew how strong were they we could have felt a little more tensed on that fight.
2) Only Chihiro's power is explaind properly and everyone else is doing radom sh*t. Like shiva hasn't lost a fight yet but we don't know what his power's are, I know he can teleport but what else.
3) The author is killing charecter's that no one care's about. Jujutsu kaisan do the same but atleast we want those charecter to live a happy life, like when a guy got cut in half ( you know who I am taliking about ) People gave him a real funeral. In kagurabachi the bomb guy died so what, his sister and mother died so what, char's mother died so what. Then chihiro's father died and I will be honest that was the only time it hurt, that's why most people liked the seires but if the the author couldn't bring that vibe again it's pointless to kill someone.
4) The author isn't makeing it 100% dark nor 100% happy, he is trying to do both ( like jjk ) but failed to make either of them.
5) It became popular overnight. This is similar to kaiju no.8 at first it was a masterpiece chapter 51 was it's peak after that it keep geting down. Things that became popular overnight can go down overnight as well, slow progress is the best progress. Jujutsu kaisen's first big fight yuji vs mahito happend on chapter 28 before that we were introduced with charecter's, and they did the world building. but here they are keep showing fight after fight no charecter devolopment except chihiro, no world building whatsoever.
I compared it to jujutsu kaisen a lot because it has the same genre (Action, Fantasy, Dark, Shonen).

@@ZetroFox9274 I just wanna Know how powerfull other charecter's like shiva are. The author is only focusing on chihiro and sojo's powers. In chapter 14 shiva had a fight with 2 sorcerers but we only saw him coming back in chapter 16 like nothing happend.
