Cleveland weather forecast for Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
The clouds will stick around through Wednesday with afternoon highs in the low 30s. Just simply a cold February day in Northeast Ohio.
Things get interesting tonight. The NWS has issued Winter Weather Advisories that will go into effect 10 PM Wednesday through 10 AM Thursday. Freezing rain will be moving in. Everyone could see .10" to .20" of ice accretion. Luckily this will be an overnight event.
Freezing rain will be arriving from the southwest around 11 PM. The changeover to rain will gradually happen south-to-north before daybreak. Rain along with warming temperatures will keep conditions damp for the rush hour drive Thursday.
Latest guidance has most locations receiving at least .10 of ice glaze.
Temperatures on Thursday soar into the upper 40s behind the rain.
A drier day for us on Friday with highs in the low 30s.
Another system will be moving in for the weekend. This will also bring rain/snow potential arriving through the day on Saturday. A shift to a few flurries/snow showers will happen into Sunday.
