I have to say i love the non voiced planet ball style vids where the planet comments are written. The way you did it in the past.
Me too
It depends, higher mass brown dwarfs are more similar to stars while lower mass ones are more similar to planets. An 70 jupiter mass L type brown dwarf would be a companion of a star, but a 14 jupiter mass Y type one could well be considered a planet.
What about T type
@@AFanOfFans depends on the mass. The spectral types are only about temperature. I would say everything with more than 30 jupiter masses is more of a star while everything below is more of a planet.

But technically, the IAU defines any celestial object orbiting a planet as "Moon" which means that planets less than 30 times the mass of Jupiter would have exomoons instead of exoplanets. But the IAU's criteia should really stick to the fact that if an object is 13 Jupiter masses - 79 Jupiter masses, it should be considered a brown dwarf whether or not it is orbiting a star.
Only ogs know this channel was called dogepro❤
Frfr
you came back with a fire video 🔥🔥
Also important to point out that all these huge planets are extremely young as gas giants shrink over time. Jupiter used to be twice as wide as it is currently. In fact, Jupiter is still shrinking around 2cm in diameter per year.
Wikipedia said proplyd 133-353 could be smaller than we expected, because it reaches the limit size of planets, with is 8 jupiters in size. If any brown dwarfs hit that limit, it will fuse hydrogen and become a star

Asking a simple queston be like:
"Hey! What's the largest planet in the universe?"
"No"
I wonder when they'll come up with the classification for such a body orbiting a star...
"Its Uh Uh Uh Uh Uh"
Wow nice planet name
You kind of didn’t answer the question of why their so big
Simply put, if u know some basics of how the solar system evolution works, they start out as very hot because of collisions and friction produced by the accretion when they gain mass by absorbing
These large planets that u said are very young, since they started forming, they had so much heat that their internal pressure is quiet high which it would expand the planet to a massive size, making them puffy
But over time, as they cool down, their internal pressure also lowers, making them shrink in size, while also making them denser
Our Jupiter also used to be quiet large, perhaps it was 3 or twice larger in size when it was hot and puffy during the early days of the solar system
The most probable answer for planet like Proplyd and HD 100546 b is that the "size" of those giant planet are way more likely to be hot protoplanetary dust surrounding newly-formed planet, therefore creating the illusion the planet is bigger than it actually is. Still good video though.
Or they could be puffy planets, IF A GAS GIANT IS HOT, IT WOULD PUFF OUT, SO THESE PLANET WOULD HAVE LOW DENSITY BECAUSE THEY ARE INFLATED BY HEAT. FOR EXAMPLE WASP-12b, Kepler-51. Since HD 100546 b is a young planet, its still very hot.
WASP-12 b, WASP-17 b and Kepler-51 planets had something in common that HD 100546 b and Proplyd didn't: Proximity to their host stars. WASP-12 b, WASP-17 b and Kepler-51 planets are huge due to their stellar radiation puffed their atmosphere up to their current size.
Proplyd and HD 100545 b young age meant that the dust from protoplanetary disk surrounds the actual planet (they're hot and accumulated around planet, hence their detection by infrared telescope) can be mistaken as actual size of planet. There are no known methods to measure actual size of these planets and the mass of these "planets" are estimated by their perceived size. I might be wrong, but that's the best way to put it.
The ending
What the largest planet in the universe?
You: it’s ARHARHARHARHARH
I believe that planets should only be called Land-type objects, that is, with a solid surface. And the gas giants should be classified in a separate category. It means that brown dwarfs are not planet and not a star. It's gas giants. Pluto can be considered a planet, since it was able to keep in orbit such a large moon as Charon and two more moons. For some cases, it is worth adding the category of double planets/gas giants

@@Mr.MR2111 still don’t understand but k, just know that most of the large exoplanets are also brown dwarfs which are sometimes considered stars
14 Jupiters Y Type Star
70 Jupiters L Type Stars
Does that mean Proplyd 133-353 size Is 1973160 km
Nope. Hd 100546 b is 3.4 times bigger than Jupiter, while Proplyd 133-353 is 8 times bigger than Jupiter and 80% the size of the sun
Also, hd 100546 b is a brown dwarf because high mass
