I've been loving the new Patrick Ta palette! It's just so pretty and easy to use, I've loved every look I've done w it so far. I love how the shimmers are more like toppers so they give you that "effortless ethereal" look. Also- I've noticed this palette really lasts really well on the eyes. I wore it the other day on a 13 hour work shift and when I got home at night, I couldn't believe how good my eye makeup still looked!!
The Patrick Ta Rose palette was actually my first ever rose toned palette, it was the first one that I literally could not stop looking at and I have no regrets!
Gemini II is my personal favorite. That depth works well for those with deeper skin tones. And I prefer a bit of grunge to super pink and rosey. I was underwhelmed by the Patrick Ta. It’s very samey-samey in tone to me.
i really like the patrick ta palette, too. i wish there was just a bit more cool tone to it like new mod, but those shimmers make it so that i don’t have to even pull in my indie multis, which is nice. although-putting a devinah moonscape shade on the inner portion of the lid for a pop of even more glitz (and the ta shimmers on the rest of the lid) with this palette is 🔥
@@Iamyl4 i don’t have the original. i wasn’t a fan of the tones in that one. from what i hear, though, the shimmers are even better this time around, and there’s no sequin matte shade. there is one satin shimmer (the darkest red), which i like for the outer corner, and the other shimmers are all the glitzy pretty ones. the mattes are great and apparently the same as MD1, as well as the creams.
I'm loving the new Charlotte Tilbury quad! I know the value is horrible, but I really do get a lot of use out of them. I just got my Bridgerton II palette and can't wait to play around with it.

I felt that.. I hear the word “sale” and I also become a monster. I bought three palettes in April after telling myself that I was not going to buy makeup. That Nars palette was one of them, as a last minute addition. I started with Patrick Ta Major Dimensions II Rose palette. The original Melt Gemini palette was the only one that was on my long time wishlist. It finally came back in stock on April 1st.
Mine too. I think it helped that mine was a single order, with no other products in the box to bounce up against. Because god knows my grumpy UPS man just drops sh*t from 4 feet high rather than actually bend over and set down. 🤦🏻♀️

The NARS palette isn't getting much hype because it's "boring" but I love it. It has everything you need, no fall out, none of the colors are repetitive within the same palette (they look distinctly different on the lid), has pigment but is still really easy to use and blend. What more do you want?! I've done such a good gold, matte brown, pink, and mauvy eye! And I haven't even done all the combos yet. The best. I traveled with it and it held up well. 😍

I haven't been able to put down Gemini II! I'm honestly surprised at how much I love it. But I'm darker than you so the lighter shades in the palette work really well to use to lighten the look. And sometimes I just really love an all matte look.
I'd love to see a comprehensive comparison or rankings of all the popular rose palettes and not just the newer ones... So including the mauve Natasha one and the pat divine rose ones... Charlotte, Etc
I love, love, love Charlotte Tilbury dreams quad. I never liked the pillow talk original quad because it was too light, too close to my skin color and disappeared. I like the mattes in Gemini 2. I bought 1 and 2 to wear with my Adept shimmer or mostly shimmer pallets. Got the Patrick Ta but haven’t used it yet. Looks great even though I will not be using the creams because of my oily lids.

I am officially hooked on the Charlotte Tilbury glimmer. I use rose tones sometimes but I prefer a more concise palette. Her Dreams quad is so deep and dramatic. Love it! I also have the ND Retro so I’m good. Thanks for ranking the quality too.
I really want to try the Patrick Ta formula. It's so pretty looking. I've loved everyone's looks with the first one and I love pink tones. I'm typically like a peacock with my looks but everyone needs a classy rose palette. I honestly haven't tried any of these palettes.
I've been loving my MDII as well! I bought mine online as soon as Sephora let people start buying it and I haven't looked back since. I'm not into mattes, but this is the first palette that I actually go for the mattes. I can't use the creams unless for liner, but I don't mind,
Gemini 2 is the only one I have and I love it a lot more than I thought I would. I don’t really prefer rose tones on myself. I think they make me look rather ill. Gemini’s got just the right undertones where it’s warm but not orange and those neutral olives pair really well with it. I wore those neutral olives with the olive toned smoke reflect from Auric and it was a perfect match up.

I think I like the PMGL palette but I’m so annoyed by the customer service and delays and such with her recent launches that I just have a bad taste in my mouth about it and haven’t been inspired to even try it - it does look pretty though and I’m guessing as soon as I use it I’ll fall in love 🤷🏼♀️

I just got the Charlotte Tilbury palette in the mail today. It’s the only one of these palettes that I own. I don’t really own any other rosy palettes that I can think of. The Sigma palette has been on my wishlist, and the Nars palette is really appealing to me, but not sure if I’ll buy either of them. I think the ND Retro palette is probably the rose colored palette that I would choose next.
The ones on the lower half of your list are the ones on my wish list. I just think the nars, supreme mauves, and new mod are so beautiful. Nars is the one I think I’ll end up picking up eventually though.

I've been debating about getting the nars palette but I do have 2 nars palettes and they're almost the same as each other and this new one. I haven't had any issues with their formulas though. It's really pretty though.

This video sparked my memory…who remembers the old Milani 12 pan palette called Pure Passion? I just got mine out, dusted it off, and holy cow is it an amazing rose palette! The quality is sooooo good (they have completely different formulas now sadly). If you still have it, I recommend It highly. It even has 2 duochromes and beautiful mattes/shimmers. I have no idea how Milani was making things this good from so long ago.
I’m proud to say that the only rose toned palette I bought was the new CT pillow talk dreams palette just bc I collect her quads. I honestly am sick of rose and don’t really like rose tones on me so I haven’t bought a pml palette in a hot minute since all her palettes have been pink and rose tones. I’m a neutral gal all the way unfortunately..
I wasn’t going to buy the Patrick Ta but I bought it yesterday with my Sephora points and got $15 off. I just got the Bridgeton one and haven’t used it yet. I also have the Nars I’ve used it once so my opinion is still out with that one. Love eyeshadow it’s my fave.

Interesting ranking. Where would you put Natasha Denona Retro and Huda Naughty, New Nudes, or Rose Quartz? Of the ones you ranked, my favorite is the Sigma New Mod, but I haven't tried the Charlotte Tilbury Quad yet. I was underwhelmed by the Genesis II and I think I'm going to return the Artist Couture one.
I focus on Jewel tones but I got the Patrick Ta palette and it’s soooo yummyyy (it did arrived shattered 😭 hurt my heart for a moment until they sent me a new one)
Bought the artist couture supreme mauves from Sephora during the sale then remembered I have similar shades from Sydney grace and Pat Mcgrath, so did not need it. Luckily i was able to cancel.
I personally returned Patrick Ta rose palette, it's way too warm toned on my eyes, made me look sick. I stick to mothership 7&8 instead whenever I want rosy look. The light cream shadow is very close to CT pillow talk cream shadow and pink gliter shade to Hourglass Aura, as I already thave those, Patrick Ta palette wasn't adding to my collection
I have none of these .... I'm literally full to the brim with rose/pink toned palettes and I don't even like these tones on my eyes!!! Obviously, I got caught up in the hype and suffered the dreaded FOMO 😂😂 I believe I could've chose the order of these palettes, especially the last 4 or 5. PMG Divine Rose is my favorite pink palette followed by ND Retro. I haven't picked up any of the new releases since I already have both.

I'd probably use lighter shimmers with the melt palette.
I was super excited for the Artist Couture eye palette but unfortunately it was not good. I returned mine. So sad because the colors were very pretty.
Bought the artist couture supreme mauves from Sephora during the sale then remembered I have similar shades from Sydney grace and Pat Mcgrath, so did not need it. Luckily i was able to cancel.

I personally returned Patrick Ta rose palette, it's way too warm toned on my eyes, made me look sick. I stick to mothership 7&8 instead whenever I want rosy look. The light cream shadow is very close to CT pillow talk cream shadow and pink gliter shade to Hourglass Aura, as I already thave those, Patrick Ta palette wasn't adding to my collection
I also become a monster during the Sephora sale and then after it over I feel terrible for how much I spent but I do love makeup so...
Would you recommend the CT quad over the stoned rose face palette?
I have none of these .... I'm literally full to the brim with rose/pink toned palettes and I don't even like these tones on my eyes!!!
Obviously, I got caught up in the hype and suffered the dreaded FOMO 😂😂
I believe I could've chose the order of these palettes, especially the last 4 or 5. When you love a palette, you really do love it 💗🌹🌹💗
