As an Indonesian, I felt shameful for how the indonesian netizen reacted to the loss of onic on the grand final. I've only recently watch the M series tournament and was thrilled to keep watching because of this year's onic team. They were absolutely great during the whole game and tried their best. But at the end of the day it is a competition, so there will be winning and losing. Even though onic did not win the M5, they still did their best and I will keep supporting them. I am greatful to Kairi for being in the Indonesian team and fought for us in the tournament. If you look closely at Kairi gameplay it is not his usual self. He missed lots of retribution on those games, picking a decision to join a war instead of farming, slip of hands here and there too. Guy was just on a total pressure the whole 7 games that night, but who wouldn't? I mean they made it into game 7, but the bad draft kind of hindered their performance (Yve?? No Khaleed ban??) The draft disadvantage was kind of a checkmate for ONIC. Kai got invaded really bad, never got his power hero (Hayabusa is his power, but he's out of the meta after the nerf rn), and got a whole lot of pressure. Onic players actually stepped up, but nevertheless the bad draft and pressure got them in the end... Hope they can come back stronger 💪🏻

It was really devastating. Throughout the whole series, Kairi was making plays after plays, highlights after highlights, and maybe this put a little pressure on him. But during that final clash on game 7, he made a fatal miscalculation that caused them the game, and it may have been traumatic for Kairi 😥💔 Cheer up King, you have already proven yourself and you'll only get stronger from here.

Coach Yeb and Coaching stuff knew it was their fault. They forgot how huge the pressure they gave to this kid on Game 7. To be a jungler and securer as well. They rely to much to this kid having big responsibility. In game 7 no one felt how hard to be on his shoes bcoz only us Junglers knows how hard to be Utility Jungler That I may insert Wise the uncredited top jungler for me upto now.

Tbh and this is my opinion as a pleb in ML, i already disliked the last game draft the moment Baxia was picked 1st for Kairi. It has been proven in the previous game of this match, even though they won that game, Kairi’s Baxia was struggling and having a hard time against Bren’s draft, especially against Frederinn that can easily break Baxia’s 2nd skill rythm and reduce his mobility or even stun lock him. In a match decider game of the grand final where the stress is very high and a little mistake can cost you the championship, when Kairi’s underperformed (IMHO), when Kairi has been under leveled most of the time compared to BREN’s jungler since his jungle mob (especially the one next to the red buff) were always invaded by BREN’s offlaner, when Baxia has a low win-rate of 40%, i don’t get why the coach/drafter early pick (1st pick? iirc) Baxia for Kairi instead of his comfort heroes to at least take some burden off his shoulder.. and also, game 4 Hayabusa last pick when BREN has a very tanky draft + Angela.. it was close match, almost a comeback. its just bren has a better draft in game 7. onic still has a good run for this year. they already win msc. and there is a saying here in the Philippines " Not every day is Christmas".

I feel Kairi on this most crucial game with championship on the line and this happened. I know he is human to make mistake the timing just happened to be worst. Still lot of games Kairi shows he is the best core specially on assassin heroes. It will all heal and will keep on rooting for you still. It's not his fault that the last game draft was straight up a**... Even the casters said that anytime Onic picked a team CC type hero they won and it was true. What was that Kadita pick anyway? And why did Kiboy prioritise SuperMarco and then couldn't even catch him, why not try to poke the other tanky heroes just to get objectives. I don't know if it's a comfort pick or Coach Yeb's strat, but that shit was straight up trash. What was Kairi supposed to do anyway other then check the bushes, if the roamer could not. I think the biggest thing that make him under perform is M5 venue in Philippines, but he play for Indonesian team, if M5 venue in other country, i think we can get different result.

As an Indonesian, I felt shameful for how the indonesian netizen reacted to the loss of onic on the grand final. I've only recently watch the M series tournament and was thrilled to keep watching because of this year's onic team. They were absolutely great during the whole game and tried their best. But at the end of the day it is a competition, so there will be winning and losing. Even though onic did not win the M5, they still did their best and I will keep supporting them. I am greatful to Kairi for being in the Indonesian team and fought for us in the tournament. Kairi did his best with the entire ONIC team in this M5 series. you can't imagine how devastating it is just because many people said he is the best jungler in the world and he needs to carry that title the entire time he play, yet when he made small mistake which could be happened to every player, he got blamed a lot and hated a lot. The draft disadvantage was kind of a checkmate for ONIC. Kai got invaded really bad, never got his power hero (Hayabusa is his power, but he's out of the meta after the nerf rn), and got a whole lot of pressure. Onic players actually stepped up, but nevertheless the bad draft and pressure got them in the end... Hope they can come back stronger 💪🏻
If we as a fan dissapointed, can you imagine how dissapointed for the players and coach? They are the one that training everyday, not us. If we as the fans want them to win, the players and coaches want win more than us, because they are the ones that prepared for big tournament like this. Coach Yeb and Coaching stuff knew it was their fault. They forgot how huge the pressure they gave to this kid on Game 7. To be a jungler and securer as well. They rely to much to this kid having big responsibility.

Tbh and this is my opinion as a pleb in ML, i already disliked the last game draft the moment Baxia was picked 1st for Kairi. It has been proven in the previous game of this match, even though they won that game, Kairi’s Baxia was struggling and having a hard time against Bren’s draft, especially against Frederinn that can easily break Baxia’s 2nd skill rythm and reduce his mobility or even stun lock him.
In a match decider game of the grand final where the stress is very high and a little mistake can cost you the championship, when Kairi’s underperformed (IMHO), when Kairi has been under leveled most of the time compared to BREN’s jungler since his jungle mob (especially the one next to the red buff) were always invaded by BREN’s offlaner, when Baxia has a low win-rate of 40%, i don’t get why the coach/drafter early pick (1st pick? iirc) Baxia for Kairi instead of his comfort heroes to at least take some burden off his shoulder.. and also, game 4 Hayabusa last pick when BREN has a very tanky draft + Angela..
Please do enlighten me since i do play ML but this was my first time watching ML tourney (i mostly watch DotA, and OG’s win in TI8 grand final has quite the same situation, with their back against the wall, but Ceb drafted comfort heroes for his team in the last game and won)

Still lot of games Kairi shows he is the best core specially on assassin heroes. It will all heal and will keep on rooting for you still. It's not his fault that the last game draft was straight up a**... Even the casters said that anytime Onic picked a team CC type hero they won and it was true. What was that Kadita pick anyway? And why did Kiboy prioritise SuperMarco and then couldn't even catch him, why not try to poke the other tanky heroes just to get objectives. I don't know if it's a comfort pick or Coach Yeb's strat, but that shit was straight up trash. What was Kairi supposed to do anyway other then check the bushes, if the roamer could not. Overall the series was great but the last most crucial game was one-sided af.Congrats to AP Bren for the big brain micro and macro plays.
