You is the bomb dude,...I have decent draftsmanship skills, but I've been struggling with light source shading and color values in terms of blending. Than I found your RUclips channel, ..I'm really jazzed now in how my drawings are turning out using procreate,..your a very good instructor,..good job.
This was absolutely amazing to watch. I'm going to get into like drawing and stuff since I've wanted to for a while now and just realised that not only can I use my phone since it has like, drawing apps available for it to download on the app store, but they're free too (though you can buy full versions with extra brushes and stuff, though it's fully optional). This was so cool seeing you do simple strokes and like have it make such a change to the drawing! When you shaded in the neck of the lizard at 2:01 I said "WOOAHH!" like, I've never been able to figure out light sources and I've been seeing videos of people just casually saying like "Ahh yes, so like if this part here is dark then this part here should be dark too since that would make sense IRL" or something. Again, this was so amazing to watch, thank you for making this video. It really didn't feel like it was ten minutes long either, it felt like it went by much faster than that. I've been drawing with like pencils and on MS Paint with my mouse until now so I'm excited to be able to start drawing well (eventually, in like a few years once I've improved and stuff since like it's all practice and looking up tutorials and everything).
Kevin Lemus I use the Apple Pencil which has pressure sensitivity. It will be very hard to blend smoothly with your fingers. I almost never use the blend tool

Really great tutorial- thank you! I’ve always gotten shadows but didn’t realize how important adding the highlights is - very helpful.
Nice video! It's really awakened the fact that I DO need to make these mental notes rather than slap down colors. Thank you!
Great videos, Austin! They're the most comprehensive I've seen, particularly for the Ipad. Thanks for all your hard work.

Is this just the watercolour brush as well?
Thank you this helped
How do your strokes blend so well after each one? Are you using your fingers/blend feature?

I can't see anything.
