Being a Kemper guy previously, not long ago I've made a decision to switch to the AX8 and I think that one of your vids (why you've chosen AX8 above anything) also made a great contribution to it. Now that I own both, Kemper collects dust mostly.

Since you asked for suggestions, would you be willing to do one for In Flames? I dunno if you're a fan or not and when it comes to them I know some people love em and some hate em but I personally would love to hear your take on their tone!

Hi! First i have to say that you got awesome tone and playability! I have been trying to get this kind tone for my guitar (including harmonies) for a long time. Axe FX stuff is new to me so i would have to buy AX8 "pedal" to get this tone?
For the next one , maybe an Architects tone match?? :D
.52 for B standard is wimpy... I use 10-52 on D standard tuning... So AA using .62 definitely sounds much more like it! The chunk you get from such a thick string is especially important on low tunings!
+Mario Krušelj I know plenty of players that play drop D with 46s, so a 52 or 56 can be plenty on a 25.5" scale length. I can't stand thick strings on a short Gibson scale length, but that's how AA get away with the tuning. I prefer a longer (even baritone scale) and smaller gauge to keep the tension.
i agree, i usually use .72 for drop A on a 26.5, if i have a floyd or just don't feel like going super heavy on the strings i go for .62 (and thats my usual go to gauge for standard B aswell) for C standard i go with .56, for higher i dunno lol. i'm always somewhere in the C-B-A area.
Amon amarth has a good tone I love there tone but that’s my opinion

Hey man!!!!! Very good tone!!! I am having some troubles with hi gain patches. The fizzing or cracking sound is really disturbed. I mean, I know if every Higain amp willbe loud but I have´t this issues with my Atomic...Have you any idea to help me??
Harsh crackling usually means you're clipping, make sure that's not the case and turn down the amplifier output level.
@@PlagueScytheStudios My input pad is on 18 db (12db shows the yellow leds on the Axe screen) for this reason I changed it. Outputs are on -4db and on the output parches the config is: -12 db. I have an Iron Label of 7 strings with two EMG 707 and really they kick as hell

The 2004 album sound sounds way less gain than in this vid and there should be much more mid and it should sound hollow and cold.
