Finally an entry level tutorial that provides the right on-ramp to getting me to the level of understanding the other beginner videos. Excellent flow and presentation!

If this doesn't become "the" video to watch for new Heptabase users, I'll be surprised. Great presentation and well paced. Kudos.

As a “newbie,” this was exactly what I was looking for to establish my foundational learning. Now, I’m set up for success as I explore workflows that meet my needs as doctoral student. Thank you for Taking the time to pull this together!

Thank you -- this was incredibly well thought out and very useful. I think Heptbase is going to be an amazing tool and you've aptly described and solved some of the "new user" challenges with the existing launch documentation. We'll dig in... and thanks to you, we'll see some good use before we review all the formal documentation. Much appreciated!

This has been very helpful. I agree that Heptabase's help files, even those dealing with very basic things, are less helpful than they could be. I am grateful that you took the time to create this aid for us distressed beginners.

Thanks @sreunbegun. I found most of this information was covered in their comprehensive help files and examples but there wasn't a bare-bones tutorial. Like you, I just didn't know where to look. But, I really enjoy this app and since I have figured out some of these features I have been glad to have stuck with it through the learning curve. I hope you have a similar experience.

Thank you for this. Very helpful. I would love to see your setup for playwriting. I'm moving my playwriting setup from Tana to Heptabase because I want something more visual.

Thx for the video. Perhaps you could consider recording at least in 1080p with a better codec to avoid a blurry video.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, I learned that trick the hard way. Future videos will be higher res.

Hey there. No, I am still using Heptabase to work on creative projects. I have been a little busy to post new content. But watch this space. I will add some more soon.

The developers posted this on 7 Nov. "Also, we've removed our AI assistant for now. We have some new ideas on how to better integrate AI into our design, so stay tuned for future updates!"

Not that big a deal. Still a great and helpful tutorial. Never mind people who can only see the clouds.
