Hi, Maggie, 很喜歡你的英文課, 尤其是你常用 English phonetic 來教我們發音。謝謝你 🥰 我老你 2至3代, 仍然很喜歡看你的視頻。1970 年夏天 中五畢業,剛考完「香港中學會考 H.K. Certificate of Education Examination, English, /HKCEE」, 報讀了一個 English Phonetics 的暑期課程,是由The Department of Extra-Mural Studies of HKU 主辦的。還記得負責的講師是 Mr. Raymond Huang 黃勵文先生。
what I want to say is how refreshing it is to hear how Cantonese is rather properly enunciated by a young person. counting on overseas Cantonese to pick up that Cantonese baton. I doubt Home Depot sell used paint at all.
It’s a nice lesson but I came across something which is an English language teacher mispronounced the Words you mentioned in the video just because her pupils could not master English well.
I think in a lot of ways, the traditional HK's public education on English has failed most people in terms of their ability to speak naturally with proper usage of words... I still remember back in the day when I was a kid still living there... all the English teachers were pressuring kids to make awkward sounds just to differentiate the verb tenses... pretty sure nowadays, the kids are still being pushed to memorize that tense chart and write in perfect grammar while neglecting the most fundamental: speaking & listening!! If you wanna speak like natives, gotta get out of HK while you're still young!!
To之後可以連接a noun or a noun phrase. 動詞 "hear" + "ing"變成 Gerund form, 即是變成名詞. 所以, I look forward to hearing from you, I look forward to seeing you, etc, etc, etc. My two cents only.

呢個ed 想學好耐,老師你教得好好丫❤謝謝
Maggie

Long long time ago, 我老師有特別教用 /t/ 方法,其他就聽得多和用得多,加老師平時有輕輕教過,就自動讀出分別。
今次就認真學到真正用法和分別😂😂
用廣東話教英文 ,劉家傑先生和Maggie 老師係香港No 1 💪💪💪
thank you very much,我從來不知道也估不到ed是有t音,谢谢,感激不盡🎉🎉🎉
👍👍👍這個我常找來學~原來Maggie這兒有❤
我係80後,睇完先發覺原來我嘅小學老師都幾好,雖然我唔係咩名校,但佢地都係教咁讀的
70後同感
我經常聽你教英文,真係學到好多嘢😍😍
what I want to say is how refreshing it is to hear how Cantonese is rather properly enunciated by a young person. counting on overseas Cantonese to pick up that Cantonese baton. I doubt Home Depot sell used paint at all.
老師我想問一下 V和F開頭的音 是不是也很常搞混 如果發音錯 會變不同字 對嗎?
早晨Maggie老師😀😀🖐🖐
謝謝老師!
I just ‘liked’ and subscribed. ❤
細個老師考oral時話一定要讀埋個ed音
要佢聽到有凸音先算岩, 唔係當錯扣分架
正呀Maggie老師,最想學多啲美式地道發音
唔該晒Maggie老師
Thanks!
Thanks for your support!
Thanks Maggie
excellent teaching❤
多謝分享,小學時老師只教講"ED"
真係而家先知有分三個讀法,講解得好易明白
I am very happy to hear that this video was helpful to you!
You are teach very good.
Maggie 老師,loved 呢個字是否應該 t音尾而唔係 d? 因為 love 既 e 係slient e.
大佬,love个e唔发音啊。love个尾音为v,为浊音,所以要接同样为浊音嘅d。ed发音要睇前边嘅“发音”,而并非单纯睇“拼写”。
有無關於ielts ge 資訊ar?
支持Maggie 老師,加油。✌️✌️✌️👍👍👍💯💯💯
How about linkedIn , link-t-in or link-aged-in ? many frds pronounce diff.
老师很温柔,好喜欢听你教英文❤
想問wanted 的t不是silent sound嗎?
不是
好鍾意聼Maggie教英文 發音好純正
係外國雖然都可以聼英文 但啲local好多時都講得好快真系未必聼得明...
好勁呀。原來係咁學英文O架。但您真係教得好好,讀得好好聽,我又聽得好順耳,要多多聽您先得。嘻。
Thank you!
我師傅經常對我說“你什麽時候能忘記規則,那你就大功告成了”
VERY USEFUL
Thank you!
老師,請知悉香港讀書為咗考試,考試時漏個’ed’要扣最少1分的,如果學生溫習讀時不讀‘突’出來提醒自己要轉過去式(加ed),他們很易漏‘ed’呀😅
乜呢個世界全部人用廣東話學英文都係為咗應付香港嘅考試?
都係以前 d 香港教師 教錯哂發音
呢個真,尤其教band 3 …
多謝!
Thanks for your support!
求: voiced and voicelss 點樣分
好細緻的容顏。
中學老師有教不過還返晒俾佢,依家終於搞清楚😂🎉
Naked 两种读法我都听过,应该怎么读?
刚睇玩。。。应该好似decided 读法 Naked😅
It’s a nice lesson but I came across something which is an English language teacher mispronounced the Words you mentioned in the video just because her pupils could not master English well.
Thanks
Thank you so much!
多謝你❤🙏🏻
你只用左八分鐘,教得好過我以前的外國老師!😊
The "crazy" thing is some people even drop the "t" sound, like "wanted" it sounds more like "wannid," totally dropping the t sound.

this reminds me when I learnt shorthand. thank you of your sharing🥰
好难得看到有香港的影片,必须赞与收藏👍
想問I look forward to hearing from you點解to後面會加ing
To之後可以連接a noun or a noun phrase. 動詞 "hear" + "ing"變成 Gerund form, 即是變成名詞. 所以, I look forward to hearing from you, I look forward to seeing you, etc, etc, etc. My two cents only.
@@躺平吧-e9t thanks mate!
啊!這課教的我剛好懂,但我本人的英文程度其實很低的,只是剛好有學過發音。
哇,第一次學到
唔怪得知,原來過去式讀音我一直讀錯。所以口話一直都進步不到!very useful video
You rock! 🎉
How to pronounce “learnt” and learned?
why I feel vocal cords vibration whatever words come out from my mouth, I can't distinguish between voiced sound and voiceless sound 🥲
其实尾音voiceless情况可能是d的弱化听起来像t
Sorry for those non-native speakers. You guys need to remember something we take it for granted.
Any adult courses please 🙏
adorable , I'm amazeded 😂😂😂
not about English, I just want to say "You are so beautiful"
我的看法是解說單字是照規則來,在句子裏 t 就不要發了,乾脆把連音規則,在ed中說清了更好。 比如should i,d 和 i 併為/ai/.
❤thanks
Got it...
要收藏起來做練習
