I adored this guitar, funnily enough I almost considered buying it back as the owner found it a little on the large side. It is currently listed at Carter Vintage Exchange
Wonderfully inspiring warmth and top grade quality skills in your rendition .... Up in the Stout Memorial Grove the trees are waving... Thanks for the great series of presentations you are producing .... from Redwood Country...
@@TomSandsGuitars Must be very secret. Looks very easy, everything you do. And your guitars sound as good as those shown on TNAG. Maybe better? but I can´t judge that; don´t know if a Ferrari is better then a Lambo. Greetings from Germany; and I hope I don´t run out of firewood this winter or I might have to put my guitars into the fire...(except the Ovation 12-string).
Cheers to you too, Tom. I’ll be tasting a dram of the same whisky this evening and be thinking oh you and Team Tom (glue pot, for crying out loud..!). Love from Terry, and my co-taster, Carole x
What a gorgeous and wonderful sounding instrument! also, I recently purchased a 4th router for my shop and felt like I was being a bit excessive. now I don't feel so bad ;)
Beautiful guitar! I love the dark purfling around the edges of the guitar. This looks so much better than guitars that use light colored elements around the edges. I am wondering how redwood compares in sound qualities AND stability and strength to a mahogany top?
It’s a good question, I should do a video on top wood selection. Sonically they’d have very different qualities. Strength/stability wise, you’d treat them very differently as well. I’ll make a video. Thanks Richard.
The tune is ‘patina’. Incidentally, Will and I decided to craft a tune which would demonstrate the full range of a guitars capabilities. We use it as a benchmark to assess/compare/contrast every guitar we make.
ANCIENT KAURI???? Can you review it or do a video about it? Oh yeah, I forgot you have to actually have some, in order to do a Tommy’s Tonewoods on it. It’s only £10,000. C’mon, Tommy! You can do it!
Wow! That was one of the most beautiful guitar I've ever seen.
Wow, thanks!
@@TomSandsGuitarsIts Stunning! Super!
The overtones and sustain in that guitar are a delight to hear. Such character. Definitely a fingerstyle treasure. Love the bridge design.
Thank you 🙏
Supremely balanced and rich tone. The woods look beautiful

TNAG demands a shop cut of the paired whisky next time, good sir!
We can all confirm-this one is an absolute knock-out.
I suggest a TNAG field trip! ✈️ 🥃 🥴
@@TomSandsGuitars That would be a dream!
This is a beautifully toned instrument!!!! You do make excellent guitars .
Thanks Paul, much appreciated

Needs must Terry! 🤣

Lovely sounding instrument. Real crisp lutherie skills to see here also. Handmade, not homemade.
Cheers Steve 👍
Quite a collection of Makita routers you have there!
Didn't realize you had a youchoob, Tommy! Good stuff, mate.
Thanks brother!
Jammy b'stid, whoever got that beauty!!!
Tom sand, thank you let me know what is the best guitar sound❤
My guitars 😆
Where’d you get the madrose for this guitar? It’s lovely.
This has to be one of the most pleasing guitars I have ever heard! May I ask what kind of bracing have you used on it?
Thank you, it’s an x brace, two wing braces and a lattice behind the X

Love your guitars Tom.
And Will is a champ. What is the name of the song being played at 5:00?... gotta learn it!!

Don’t tempt me! 🤣
What is the action and string gauge? This guitar sounds amazing.
Thanks Michael. Strings are elixir pb 12’s set to 2.6mm at the 6th and 1.8mm at the 1st string.
Dang, this guitar is about as sexy as it gets.
They never strum it with a pick :/
They’re primarily designed for finger style, that being said you’ll notice that Will often uses his nails to strum.
This guy needs to accept he's bold and stop wearing stupid hats.
Nothing wrong with being bold if you own it, don't know if he's bold but his amount of gay hats indicators he is bold and not happy about it
Mate it’s spelt BALD.
Oh, then I must take off my cap in my next music video?
