DUDE, whomever made this really missed out on an opportunity for a series: a girl wrongfully accused for crimes she herself didn't commit that is pitted on her by a shadowy figure or organization, being hunted down from one end of the world to the next by crazed bounty hunters all while she is trying to clear her name and reconvene with her lover who thinks this situation is completely crazy.
Ohvist Small the girl's also an allegory for harmony, since in the opening scenes the whole world is blaming her for natural disasters, corruption, and commercialization, as well as... hamburgers.
