This arrangement and surrounding is beautiful. The music the feature speaker and other units the McIntosh amplifier the carpeting is very cozy & relaxing I'm sold! ☺🔊🔊👍
I own venere 2.5. It has amazing amazing mids for vocal. I can’t express the quality of it. You feel the song. I can’t say same thing for the trebles and the woofer. They are just made of entry level parts. I don’t get any crash sound from cymbals and bass is barely there. I’m very happy when I listen vocal based music.
I got the 2.5 as well, I discovered magic by setting them as 'small' in my receiver but using a low crossover of 60hz. The deepest notes go to the sub and the distortion in the lower registers vanishes. However more importantly, the midrange is freed up to do what it does best, give it a shot if you are using a 5.1 setup or the like.
Hi ive got the 3.5 and i notice that the speaker wasnt that good with pop, country, rock becouse of the bass it delivers. It to much bass it kinda lose the grip of the music. But i fixed that with plugged the speaker port. Now it sound like a speaker in the elit class. Its easy to try for yourself. Just take a few socks and cover the front port then tie it to the speaker. After ive heard the difference i took of the front baffel and plugg the port. I have a short video of that. Let me know what you guys thought after you tried it.
That's another good video. If you could manage a comparison with the Q Acoustic 3050i. I understand that the price points are very different, but I believe that by matching the QA speakers with the correct gear, they can work wonders.
I see some comments such are: They Play only jazz etc. Hmmmm, on one hand it is true that almost all serious audio clips are playing some jazz via expencive stuff. It is the same thing that old people are driving expencive cars, because they can afford it at that age. Getting older means getting more mature, more quality, and so on, so the jazz is the music for mature people, they have money for serious hi fi. I don't know any youngster having SF or some other serious hi-fi equipment. Those Fabers are more, dynamic, alive and engaging then Olympica series,I have listened to both in showrooms and Olympica always had somehow muffled sound no matter what equipment they are connected to. I think These speakers are really good value, maybe best at SF range. They only have to be properly match, to a bit warmer amps ( Naim , Musical Fidelity, Mcintosh, Electrocompaniet ) and they will sound excellent
Have you listened to these with an electrocompaniet amp? I got the venere 2.5, but the amp pairing I was looking into didn't work out since the local hifi store went bankrupt and I haven't been able to find a replacement for that specific amp. Been looking at some amps from electrocompaniet to take its place.
the olympicas sound more flat. not "muted" these have the old "sonus faber sound" which is colored. You can do the same with a DSP if you really want that kind of sound.
I own the Sonus Faber 3.0 and my electronics are parasound JC 2 preamp with parasound JC 1 mono blocks. Sound is really clean with great imaging. Sonus Fabers 3.0 are impressive.
I'm about to buy Venere 2.5 from sound for very reasonable price. However I still have doubts about this speaker. It gives me feeling that I won't get to audiophile level listening with this.
I think you'll get audiophile lever quality sound out of it, I feel that Sonus Faber still knows what they're doing to get a natural realistic live performance voice. McIntosh amps sometimes are the thing to worry about if they're lower wattage...
Landon Forche I got them from this guy . All in box with everything. This guy also makes his own referance a class amps. ruclips.net/video/eOAwJbU_-2s/видео.html
Haha 😀 and classical music 😀 anyway I think every other genre would sound fakin amazing on these, but the best of these you will get by playing jazz and classical. Just my opinion 🙂
@@Fildakor I'd put my relatively inexpensive active Quad 12L bookshelves crossed over to a Velodyne any day of the week and twice on Sundays. Put a blindfold on ya and see which you like better.
best loudspeakers to the jazz sound
McIntosh+Sonus Faber ❤️

Have a pair of this speakers, drivning with Luxman M-03 power amp. Super tight clean bass and fast as well.
Som limpo cristalino!!👏👏👍

Nice presentation....!
SUPER
These speakers are perfect for a small apartment!
Yeah, an apartment the size of a football stadium.
I have a pair of Sonus Faber VENERE 2.5 Loudspeakers and my living room size is 17x27. Absolutely they are not for small apartment!
I meant bass wise!
NYC loft living bro!

...it`s simply useless testing hifi equipment with Techno-beats, they sound the same on low budget-equipment as on high end hifi

Yo las tengo combinadas con un Musical Fidelity M6 si y un Marantz ND 8006; que te parece? algo que mejorar?, gracias

It's like 25% there. Need to look bit higher.
Is there any change in 2018 model of venre 2.5 or its same as old?
lalit agrawal for what i know, it is the same
Sound Sommelier ok thanks
Sound Sommelier ok thanks
do you listen to rock/metal/alternative?
how do they sound with these genres?
It's not the kind of music i used to listen to... probably there are better options for rock and metal
