Soren👍👍 Excellent! This is how a thinking man gets things accomplished, measure, draw a picture, reason it out, get a friend and done.. Your skills with the axe are exemplary, well done. Musen looks happy and healthy, crossed the bridge no sweat. Wonderful location there, looks clean and maintained. Ahh, a nice drink to celebrate the job is obligatory. Great video and well presented as always, thanks for sharing. Enjoy!
The drawings were really good. The joke about a dude with long hair was funny, but the best part was seeing that old rustic wooden cupboard and the Don takes out a shiny immaculate crystal whiskey decanter and glasses! Hilarious!!! 😂👍
I like the cat just hanging out watching you work. I used to have a cat named "Steve" he would follow me into the woods. When I would hunt with bow he would climb the tree with me and stay withe for hours.
Again i am inspired& blown away by your resourcefullness& innovative designs. Thanks DV always glad to see you in the woods with lil miss effie& friends! Nicely done! There was a song in my head as you worked on this... love can build a bridge btwn your heart and mine, thanks this is super cool man! I love it!
Hello and thanks for sharing the video of your new bridge. That was funny to see Luna wondering if she should cross the bridge and then see Musen just casually go across to be with you without hesitation. That was nice of Morten to help. That bridge will definitely be a big help. Take care and look forward to the next video. Sending Musen lots of hugs!

...just making fun of my self. Was afraid i would get comments on the sex issue after i posted it. ...women would have no problem doing this as well. The women i know that do bushcraft are very skilled. :)
@@DonVonGun yes im not surprized some of us chicks are a lil overly sensative about the sexism thing. It is fun helping on these kinda projects, id be the one that fell in the water and would hafta be towed out downstream lol. Keep your scent of humor dv, something always smells funny somewhere!
excellant video ! so good to have friends to help you and camp out with you.love the cabinet with whiskey decanter! bridge turned out well so waiting for next video! take care and stay well friend!
It‘s saw time!😁 I was amazed at how such a large tree could be made into a bridge with minimal tools and manpower. 😳 More than her friends, Musen seems to be good at crossing the bridge.🤗
Excellent job, young man, excellent. Now that you have bridged two worlds together, be interesting to set-up a game camera and see what uses it. Might be surprised. Always enjoy your videos and appreciate your work putting it together. Take care.
Fantastisk film! I enjoyed the "how do I get that thing across the river" scene in the tent :-) I was thinking of making a sled to steer it in and out of the river with the pulley. Great project.
Freaking me out leveling that big log with your hand axe! I was waiting for it to skip off and whack you in the shin. Same thing happened to me as a kid. Lesson learned. Nice bridge though!! Great effort.
admittedly i watch this channel to see the dudes with long hair chopping wood 👀🍬💪 so i don't know a lot about tools, but i think the wheel part is called a "winch" in English 👍
Great video thanks you - have you ever had problems with much higher water there? I ask because in Romania my wife’s village has bridges like this and after the winter snow melt and rains the river rises several metres and has washed them away a few times - leaving one side of the village stranded until they could be rebuilt - they now have a much higher bridge made of old railway track with think boards on it .
No, people that lives near certain seas, that has built their house few meters from them, has trouble some years becourse of drainage. (agriculture) Our highest point is under 200 meters above the sea.
but it COULD'VE been a chick...since you figured out the physics properly. That pulley thing is called a block and tackle device (in English.) Lovely bridge!
Haha!! Øh tak. Kan ikke lige huske jeg siger jeg er fed, dog ser ser jeg lidt uheldig ud på et tidspunkt. ...trænger vist til at slæbe lidt stammer igen. :D
2 ting, gamle dreng.
Mission accomplished! I love the ringing sound that axe makes.

Thank you :) ...yes i have thought about that. The best thing about the bridge is the area. Its not very good to hang my hammock on the tent side.
@@DonVonGun Lol - good to see you have your priorities right.
That is one lovely place, especially now that everything around is getting green with the summer.

People are concerned of seeing you swing the ax toward your legs. May you explain why it is not a concern to you, please? Thank you.
3:36
I would say it looks safe from this angle. The gap is more than big enough.
Sometimes the camera angle can be tricky. Other times i support my elbow on my ribs or knee as a stopper.
@@DonVonGun Thank you for your responding!

You very nearly axed your left leg.

I cringe watching him swinging his ax towards his leg.
Also but, he is really, really good/accurate with that axe!
@
He had his leg pretty far away from and he does know how to swing it.
Looking from de side seemed dangerous but moving the camera up front the leg was far enough from the swing with plenty of room in case of a bounce.
