- George Katrougalos, Independent Expert on the promotion of a democratic and equitable international order (in person)
- Pedro Arrojo-Agudo, Special Rapporteur on the human rights to safe drinking water and sanitation (in person)
Special rapporteurs are independent human rights experts with mandates from the Human Rights Council to report and advise on human rights from a thematic or country-specific perspective. UN member states elect them for three-year mandates that can be renewed for a further three years. They are not paid and speak from their own perspectives based on their expertise and research.
The essence of their contribution is its independence and they do not speak for the United Nations Organisation.

UN Security Council resolution 1701 declared that Israel and Lebanon's terrorist organizations are to evacuate from southern Lebanon, where only the Lebanese army and UN forces will remain to secure the area and maintain the peace. The UN forces do nothing to uphold the UNSC resolution and keep the terrorists away. Southern Lebanon is controlled by terrorists.

She didn't call out the rampant internationally recognized terrorist organizations in Judea and Samaria or in Gaza for being responsible for Israel's reactions. She didn't mention that Israel's operations in Tulkarm, Jenin, etc. were successful counterterrorism operations with a lot of terrorist and little civilian casualties. She brings up the road demolition, but not the explosive booby traps placed in them which Israel's forces try to neutralize, despite the many videos of explosions surrounding the tractors, filmed and uploaded by the Palestinians themselves to brag. Tractors don't cause explosions out of nothing.
She says genocide, and you say genocide, but there is none. It was brought up to the ICJ and it hasn't found Israel guilty of one. Facts on the ground make it clearly evident that there is no genocide. What sort of a genocidal campaign instructs the people it wants to bring an end to to walk away from big deadly explosions? The fact that over 11 months of war have passed and the death toll is so relatively low (given population density and enemy tactics, one could have expected 6 digit casualties within a couple of months) either proves there's no genocide, or that it's the least efficient genocide in history.
The UNSC should be abolished, and all issues should be addressed directly by the UNGA, eliminating veto power for any state. Decisions should be made through UNGA votes, with the ICJ serving as a legal resource. This restructuring would ensure a more democratic and fair approach to global governance, free from the undue influence of powerful nations. It is imperative that the UN evolves to meet the challenges of our time and uphold the principles of justice and equality for all.
The word is not a high performance motorbike, consensus of an organisation comprised of many countries with different PoV takes a long time... The UN is taking action, but I'd argue a large part of their remit is diplomacy and soft action through health and educational initiatives - these developments/inputs are beneficial, but slow burners. The world is not a Hollywood action film - if you are old enough to remember - how long did it take the apartheid regime of SA to fall? It took decades...

Foremost Western States have shown hardly any, if at all any concern for the respect and implication of International Law. Israel has been until this day granted a status of Total Impunity, thus- Israel which was given right of state in 1948 has tramped and spit on the very organization, the UN, which gave it birthright. Such action of Non- respect of the UN institution SHOULD result in the dissolution of this state's rights to remain a UN member, Unless it ,Israel, accepts and abides by UN law and resolutions.
If the US and UK, France, as permanent SC council members, continue to allow Israel this status of being outside and above of UN law, then the undermining of the UN institution in itsself by its permanent members will bring the UN to a fall where it will lose any power and credibility.We can already clearly see some of this happening'.

Francesca Albanese the UN Special Rapporteur on the occupied territories, (italian) is now currently under investigation by the same UN! She who is the voice of human rights on the matter in the UN ..she who vowed of being objective and having no links whatsoever with palesttinian groups etc etc...was in fact caught (so is said) flying to Australia being payed by a palestinian group, lying about it when caught...saying she was on a UN mission. When the fact was investigated it actually came out that there was NO UN mission and that the UN did not fund the trip. Apparently there were other trips as well. She who vowed of having no ties...was then discovered of having "forgotten" her husband had worked for the P.A. so now the same UN is carrying an investigation on her.
I am sure many things she says are right, we all see what's going on there now, sadly.
But she is the "shofar of human rights" and is definetely not that kosher to the point the UN itself is carrying an investigation on her.

UN Charter was hence broken the day it was signed. They accepted this creation by force and from 1947 failed to stop it while shilling "2 states" when this is the 2 state solution and is and always was against UN charter.

I'm one minute into the video. They listed the topic of escalating violence in Gaza and the list of talkers. Placing a bet now: they won't mention the escalating violence of Hamas against the civilian population.
Five minutes in. The lady talks about IDF's antiterrorism operations in Judea and Samaria, without the context of antiterrorism. Bet: There won't be a mention of the terrorists, the fact roads get booby trapped, or that terrorist organizations confirm the deaths of their operatives in these very operations.
As to this lawless action's against the Lady Law and Geneva convention and abuse of all humaterian law! Now ask yourself the question! What is the reason that their are governments aiding and arming this violations in the state of Palastine. Is the reason that these governments are held hostage?
