- Cebu City Philippines is a very unique and interesting city, and the streets surrounding Colon all have their own identity.
Colon Street, the oldest street in the Philippines, is a historic landmark in Cebu City. It is named after Christopher Columbus (Cristobal Colon). Founded by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi, it has evolved from a mere pathway to a bustling center of business activity and culture.
Colon Street area is a vibrant hub of shops, offices, and food, frequented daily by many jeepneys and taxis, making it a vital part of Cebu City’s rich history, great presence, and tourist attraction.
