I kinda feel pain in this beautiful track. Dumbledore had so tragedies in his life yet he stayed good, kept his heart on the bright right path. Hats of to Dumbledore☺
I hope this theme is set to a montage of Dumbledore going about his work at Hogwarts... Us seeing him teach kids, him reading books, him knitting patterns, him spending time alone, him looking at the Mirror Of Erised only to find...Grindelwald.
I'm so ready for this movie, and the rest of the series, to show us Dumbledore in a different light. I've never seen him as this evil manipulator that much of the fandom wants to view him as. This theme really captures his sadness and loneliness, yet there's a lightness to it, something hopeful about it. Someone further down in the comments mentioned it almost sounds like a hymn, which I think is a beautiful way of putting it. The original HP series has it's share of Christian allegories, with Dumbledore often in the role of the Father God sacrificing his only (metaphorical) son for the good of the world...seems like there might still be elements of that side of his character in this series too. Really excited to see where this goes, controversy be damned.
Albus Dumbledore was the most amazing and extraordinary wizard. But, hearing this wondrous theme, its like we all want to explore more the story of him, specially if it is inside the world of Harry Potter.
This is now the third theme for Dumbledore. Nicholas Hooper and Alexandre Desplat both wrote one for him. This one is nice, perhaps more lush then I expected for Dumbledore in his prime. It almost sounds like a hymn in some parts.
Hmm, very interesting piano solo. Dumbledore never had a theme (I think) in the original HP films, which the later scores aren't as good after JW left...
Interesting way of phrasing it. Yes, no doubt John Williams will forever be the iconic HP composer, but that's not to say the other three didn't do a marvellous job. Patrick Doyle and his fairytale music gave us Harry In Winter, Nicholas Hooper's touching melodies included Dumbledore's Army, Harry and Hermione, In Noctem, etc., and Alexandre Desplat was simply marvellous - look no further than Lily's Theme. I think that, if Williams had done all the films or something, we would not have had the breadth of music today. Each score by each individual composer is a beautiful contribution to the heart of this story that we all love.
DUTCH wizard These are just solo piano renditions of these themes for the album, they’ll surely be played differently throughout the actual score of the film. Look at the track list in the description.
The man of perfect understanding and the least understood. He's never gone because we are loyal to him.
so beautifully constructd. yet so sad. the definition of dumbledore.
This is gonna be a new side of Dumbledore nobody has ever seen before.

"SEXY DUMBLEDORE!"
EXACTLY.I AM SO EMOTIONAL RIGHT NOW
From the photos, a lot of Dumbledore's "backside" will be seen. LOL

You're absolutely right
I think Hagrid was more of a father to Harry than Dumbledore.
Can't wait to watch the movie

He never existed! He is a character of a book

Ehh, Alexandre Desplat wrote Dumbledore's Theme? Which song?
It’s heard a lot in “The Will”.
Desplat's theme was.
Yes, it was. It appears whenever Dumbledore is mentioned in DH Part 1.
But Dumbledore still has a theme in Desplat's score. I know that music very well.
This might give me as much chills as "Dumbledore's Farewell." So beautiful!
This music fits Dumbledore especially in the HP movies.
It fits Richard Harris's version. This music depicts peace and serenity in his demeanor.
Wow, that is incredibly beautiful! Very moving...JNH nailed it!
I LOVE DUMBLEDORE SO MUCH,JUDE LAW IS AMAZING.THIS MUSIC IS STUNNING❤❤
Gonna buy this Album Dumbledore
I have a feeling that The Crimes of Grindelwald will the The Empires Strikes Back of Fantastic Beasts.
Mea J. the bad guys win
Huh? Did you mean will be?
Doubt it. If there's going to be 5 movies then the cliffhanger chapter should be Part 3 and not so early. Otherwise part 4 and 5 will suck! lol
@@Cutelatinguy2 I don't doubt that J. K. Rowling can put cliffhangers in all the movies ;)
As long as it's not like attack of the clones ...
Dumbledore the GOAT of the Wizarding World.
Newton Howard + Jude Law might result as the best Dumbledore yet
Can't be worse than Mikael Gambon's Dumbledore...
I adore Michael's Dumbledore ^^
Is anyone hearing the little bits of “I vow to thee, my country” song that’s mixed into this theme? I find that very interesting
I immediately Googled that and _you're so right_ ..........
Complete beautiful
this album's gonna be sooo gud!
Ai meu Dumb❤️
The best wizard of all time was.....
Guess who?

OMG BEST MUSIC COMPOSER FOR FB John Williams and now James Newton Howard
Is there an extended version from 1:30?
PS guys: the last 3 songs do not appear in the movie. Checkout the Fantastic Beasts Facebook page for more info.
Intoxicating.
Can anyone else hear parallels to Fawke's theme? I feel like it's hinted at.

I don’t know why but when I listen to this theme it reminds me of Lupin 😔✊
Oh my God❤😢❤❤
It's in a Major key...wonder if that means anything
Why would that mean anything?

Lovely theme. I even did a violin/piano cover extended version of Dumbledore's Theme on my channel. 😀
