The Granton edge on the blade looks great but I doubt it’s better than a hollow grind? It seems Freeman has made a knife that draws attention and they billboard the blade accordingly. The high price is probably so Freeman can grow as a company, not because the knife is worth it. I’d rather have a Protech Tr-4 manual. They cost less with better steel.
Hey man, just ordered one of these from USA made blade. They had one in all Ti, and now the blade is in magnacut. After I ordered it I had to go back and see if you had a video of one, and sure enough...
Yeah man I love it! Never had to made any adjustments to it and it's smooth. Gets better the longer I've owned it. The finger choil is a little over the top on em but I love the knife!
Love that piece, especially the blade & button lock. The lanyard knot style is cool too, although not sure what it is. Action look great. Thank you for the upload.
Shaker that is a great looking knife. I love the Freeman flipper folder knives. One of my grails was one with a crusader sword going down the handle. You have a great knife there and it is fantastic to see that you carry and use it.
The blade is definitely interesting the ridges do not help for cutting anything but cheese maybe(the idea is that as the cheese moves across those lines it will seperate thus reducing sticking for softer cheese although most knives don't do that they either dimple or have cut outs but whatever) in essence if you're doing a straight cut down along the ridge it won't hurt really but if you're slicing it does essentially have the same impact as serrations just with less catching because it has an even blade apex but yeah that's not a huge problem. Not my style personally. I dunno if there's anyone who says American labor is immoral just not worth it maybe but I don't read as many youtube comments as you probably so maybe they are, I think most people say that about American knife companies that outsource labor to China or other cheaper areas of manufacturing and then aren't priced near the manufacturers from China *cough*Spyderco Tenacious*cough*.
I got this one at Blade show west.
Bought mine in 2018 still one of my favorite knives of all time it’s just beastly
Way into button locks these days. Just got the Drop ProbTech Mordax and it’s a dream. This thing looks beastly.

@n0neya yes, you should buy the Civivi.

I have been all about button locks lately. First experience I had with one was the Spyderco smock. Great video 👌

You have to get your hands on the all carbon fiber model at just over 4oz, I own two, they are really a good fit for me.
I have the full titanium version with s35vn and i love it. Great review brother.
Love it or hate it it's nice to see something different.

My Girlfriend's grandpa's brother (yes I know lol) is Mr. Freeman and hand makes all of these knives himself
Thats awesome!
Some of the ones around 300 are titanium handles
It looks like my hand forged knife from a rasp! The name seems to imply a Free Man would carry a beasty tool like this🤺😀
The Ti handled model does not have the inlay.
Does it cur well ? And I carry my Modax all the time and I love the fidget factor lol
Not in my experience, no
In my experience, for what it was designed to cut, (wood, rubber, rope, outside stuff) yes. For apple surgery? No.
Lol nice ya my Button locks are just so fidgety, I was wandering if it carried well because it's a biggie lol so thanks for the reply's
Is it better than the mordax or Medford smooth criminal?
Quality wise, feels about the same as the Mordax. Much bigger though. Never handled a smooth criminal.
So sick 😍
hahhahahahaha. If I ever need to shave toilet paper, I will use a TRM Neutron.
