That’s my father. We have reel to reel tapes of his shows in the basement. Our family has not gotten around to digitizing them. I just posted a bunch of photos of a book Jack Kerouac autographed to him, he was a fan.
I recently acquired a reel-to-reel machine in order to digitize my own airchecks and other audio memorabilia. Let me know if you want any help - I'd love to hear your dad again. Plus I still have to justify to my wife the amount spent on this gadget, which was a lot as it had to accommodate 10 1/2-inch reels.
Thanks for this. To hear Watson again is just a reminder as to why I loved radio.
