Bought one a month ago. So far it has a couple hundred rounds through it and has maintained zero. Keep in mind I had mine potted. It definitely gets you in the game.
I love mine. I was so close to spending the coin on a Steiner.. I held back because so many ppl talk about them not back their products when it comes to warranty. I decided to buy this somogear back in early November once I noticed review videos were being uploaded. I said wth let's risk the $265 I'm super happy with its performance .
@bcro1312 yea, when I zeroed mine, I did 50 yards full power vis . Took it out for the first night run and noticed when holding still it was off, lol I adjusted on the fly, I do need to take some time to get it 100% on tho. I was just super excited that night.
Without night vision...is there any way to test the IR light? I have security cameras with night vision...but IR light shows up as a 1" dot from 20-30 feet away. EDIT...completed the video....seeing a single dot for IR....guess mine works fine. I thought I would get green laser with the IR light....but its an IR laser..and IR light. Correct?
The IR laser should not be there when you operate illuminator only. Also, the mode above "off" is for programming. So you can change the constant on or double click actions of the button. Mine holds zero great on my 12.5" 223 AR. I have had to nudge the laser about 3 or 4 MOA after several hundred rounds. But I'd still say it's worth the money.
Chinese clone made by "somogear" it is neither civilian, nor military. But the laser and illuminator specs are faaaar better than what's available on the civilian market from the actual companies that manufacture the lasers.
YA.. lets point an un-regulated high power laser at ourselves. This is why I teach my students to treat IR lasers like a loaded weapon, because guys like this go around giving people free Lasik surgery.
You’re as dramatic as a woman. Absolute Fudd mentality. We are dealing with real weapons here where pointing a loaded gun at someone (which the peq is mounted to) is far more dangerous and serious than an IR laser.

@@MRD0889 only problem with mine so far is the two lasers are not exactly co-aligned so I just focus on zeroing the IR laser primarily

Thanks for going over the momentary vs constant functions. Hadn't seen that in anyone else's reviews or discussions yet.
I got one several weeks ago and it holds zero pretty well. Very impressed. Several hundred rounds already and no issues. Mine is also potted.

Are the screws moved to the left side just for storage or does it do anything
Where did you guys buy from?
Do you get the IR "laser beam" effect with the NVG10 using the FP IR laser?
That’s what I want to know as well
