I'm a sucker for her on Look Around You. While everyone plays how absurd the show is completely straight, she still has hilarious moments like driving a car while fast asleep--snoring with her mouth open and all, meeting herself from the future (her elderly future self having a laser eye), and somehow not cracking up during the whole show.
I loved her on Who Do You Think You Are. She seemed so genuinely excited as she traced the life of a couple times great grandmother who was born to an Indian mother and British father. Her excitement over traveling to India was fun to watch.
I was first charmed by this brilliant lady when she was in a 2009 episode of "Midsomer Murders" called "Small Mercies." Her performance was both chilling and chirpy. Spoiler alert! She was the killer.
This is the actors actor. The fine tuned professional others desire to be like. She’s my absolute favourite actor to ever live and I think she went too long before finally getting her flowers. What an incredible talent.
