As a person who is very familiar with the process of obtaining work authorization cards there is no way for the federal government to streamline the migrants. There is already a backlog of applications for people who entered either legally or thru Asylum claims that it takes about six months for an application to be approved from the time it’s accepted. So now the city and state wants to skip the already long line because the migrants want to work. What about the people already waiting in line? Screw them?

I just came back from Medellin Colombia and it was awful! It was trashy but even worse was everyone rode scooters with no exhaust. I thought I was going to die on occasion from carbon monoxide poisoning. So when I see this it looks to me NYC will become a 3rd world city soon! I'm so thankful I don't live in NYC!
