    sending someone who's never done intervals before to go and do 60 second hill reps is fkn diabolical hahahahhaah

      😂 I agree if that person was a new runner
      Context: this person is absolutely not a new runner. They simply just haven’t really done intervals before
      This person is an accomplished marathon and ultramarathon runner and has done several mountain ultras, so is no stranger to a hill!
      Those reps were also not to be done all out hard (I explain this), it was more about control throughout each rep
      The session was also only 8x 60 reps, so only a baby session to start
      This person is now bashing out but interval sessions with confidence and just yesterday completed 6x 1200m threshold reps with 5x 30s hard hills
