He didn't die. The System healed all the damage that he took in the double dungeon. As you guys found out this episode the System is willing to do anything to keep Sung alive regardless of his morals making basically a slave to the system.
The last scene is beautiful. While watching the rain, It also shows that despite him losing part of his morality, he is still a kind brother. His mental changes will affect his decisions in the future 😊
A million won, the Korean currency in Solo Leveling, is converted to about $750 American. So when they say something is worth hundreds of millions won its about $75000 to hundreds of thousands of dollars. Which is still a lot for a D Rank on his first raid, but its not AS expensive as hundreds of millions of dollars lol.
ok the guy on the left has deffintly allready seen it or read the manga cauce he called litearlly EVREY SINGLE THING THAT HAPPEND THIS EPISODE like aint no way.....
Nothing he said was suspicious tho, everything was either obvious or not a serious prediction (e.g. “he’s gonna cut his head off” - that’s not meant as an actual prediction, he’s just saying it lol)
yeah a lot of gamer colloquialisms used in this show so far. DOT (commonly known as dots) damage over time, for his "drain" and I see a lot of people just calling it poison.
My one major nitpick with this episode was that they changed the name of the skill he got after defeating Hwang Dong Suk and his squad from "Bloodlust" (from the official translation of the manhwa on tapas) to "Murderous Intent"😭 Like, why would you change it UGHHHH. Imo one word is so much better than two for skills like these JHEBHJW Anyways, the music was majestic, Jinwoo was magnificent and those bastards deserved everything they got:)
Translation oddities are my only complaint with this adaptation, but my biggest complaint in this episode is that the emergency quest said "defeat," not "kill." Makes it seem like he had another option. In the manhwa, it was explicit - if someone intends to kill him, he will end up with a quest that demands he either kill them or die.
He gave his sister the umbrella the episode before, showing he still has emotions, even after murdering 6 people.
You could also argue it shows how much his perception stat is able to pick up, at least that's how I always interpreted it in the book
He's talking about being glad that he gave his sister the umbrella in the last episode.

Taito Ban is KILLING it as Jinwoo's voice actor. He sounded so PRIMAL when he is stabbing the SHIT out of that spider.

Love that they didn't hold back on the gruesomeness in the anime
Dude it's his sister
he wasnt just paralysing it there was drain as well (drains 1%hp every second) and he was stacking debuffs

Its Japanese right? Why does it sound different though?
Watch in japanese version
Funny little detail. 12:02 you can see a bead of sweat on the mages fore head showing he didn’t actually hold back but bro still tanked it
Definitely getting the Eren vibe with kill or be killed talk :D Tatakae!
Sawano with another banger!
17:20 20:01 😂😂😂😂
