Fessy saying "and your ass went home" shows you how much of a weak competitor he is despite looking like he *should* be dominant. Ex-athlete, prime age (compared to the vets), biggest guy in the house... one elimination win was a pole wrestle vs a guy with basically one hand and another win on a hall brawl playing dirty vs a smaller guy.
I dont exactly remember, but last season didn't he gas out during the final. He had the lead and a huge advantage and ended up getting last by quite a bit because he got tired and couldn't finish the puzzle

It’s all about scouting for legit people on each show. People that can bring drama and legit competitiveness to the show.
Hell yes! The Survivor alumni are well-rounded and just casually good at this. They have an excellent competitor mentality and attitude about the game. Definitely my favorites to watch on The Challenge.
Theresa is the reason why Jay was targeted. It was bad enough she got him to lie and blindside his friends last week, but she was super messy in this episode. Going to CT about going after Darrell, went off on Amber B for not throwing the challenge for her, then went after CT for spilling she was targeting Darrell. She is just creating enemies with everybody and Jay is getting punished for it😅 Can somebody tell me why is it the guys got all this energy at the house but not in the challenge? I was looking forward to this challenge until they made it boring for not doing anything. The irony that the girls have bigger balls than they do. And good for Leroy for being the first person to volunteer and win that elimination. That was really iconic of him to do that.

Let's be real though Jay didn't get any chance of actually playing the game in Total Madness having to go through 3 straight mens eliminations. For him to go out the way he did at least was marginally better than that time and he goes out on at least making a move
Agree with Teresa being Jay's partner - poor guy! But I disagree with him standing no chance against Leroy (before I watched it! Lol) When they went in there and I saw what it was I really believed no guys there could beat Jay at that particular game. He is light, but strong, and seems to be very agile. To say I was shocked by Leroy's speed is an understatement. Dude beasted that game! But Jay wasn't really that far behind him. They did that in less than one minute - crazy!!
But he still chose to go along with her plan, while knowing lying to his friends wasn't going to go well. Jay played himself just as much as Theresa did.
I hate the way they've started editing these eliminations. I don't believe Leroy was ever even stuck at that hump. They just like to show the same scene 5 different times, from different angles, with intense music playing just to drag it out and make it look dramatic.
Agreed. It looks like his rope slipped back once just because he happened to set it just a little too far away from the top when he made his initial move and then he just fixed it right away and kept moving. TJ said the whole elimination took less than a minute so he definitely wasn't stuck for any significant amount of time.
@@tambergray1908 Yeah and I understand they do it to make better tv and majority of people probably feel the same way you do. Nobody wants to see a main event end in less than a minute. To me it just feels dishonest. This is a competitive show with competitive people. As Leroy or any other competitor, I'd be really upset if I completely smoked somebody just to have it shown as me struggling to beat them. Also as a viewer I personally enjoy seeing where everybody stands in comparison to each other. It's hard to gauge that when things get shown completely different from how they actually happen.
I felt for so sad for Jay during his elimination speech. He said I just want to take care of my family and not have to work so damn hard all of the time and that’s what we all want but I just felt so hurt for him. He’s so nice and people kept coming for him bc he’s the little guy
Yeah I felt bad when he got eliminated. He had a terrible partner this season. When he got eliminated, I just wanted to give him a big hug. He was my favorite this season.

Jay's departure was Theresa's fault. Also, I love the fact that Leroy was real about the fact that he could have possibly lost that elimination and he was scared and that he was the first person to throw himself down.
@TheLavalishus I'm going based on what they showed in the episode and Leroy was scared before he even knew what the elimination was. He literally said it out of his own mouth. Even after he saw the elimination and saw that it was something similar he still said Jay could possibly win because he is smaller and could have beaten anyone else who didn't have Leroy's strategy.

I do feel bad that Jay was screwed by Theresa this season but I also respect how hard Theresa ended up fighting to try and save them knowing it wasn’t a women’s elimination, so I’m not too mad at her and I really like how she plays despite her kam move not exactly working too well. The goal was to take out Ashley. They picked the girl that could. Lam is just butthurt. And when Jay makes a move against a guy, Theresa would end up paying for it.
I think the saving moment was when they all wished Jay the best after the elimination, hopefully that squashes bad blood in the future. (Darrell said it best, this all happened because of Theresa) Edit: Why is Fessy talking??? To answer fessy's question/curiosity, leroy never won because he got too comfortable politically. Everybody loves leroy so in a challenge prior where the skulls werent needed, he was good because no one would vote him in. Leroy is a beast in eliminations, only losing to tough competitors like CT, hunter, jordan&marlon. But his lack of puzzles & swimming always had him down competitively. That & him saying he never tries to win a daily because he doesnt want to be in power. The drive he has this season shouldve been applied seasons ago. Gonna miss him after this season. Def was a favorite of mines since his RW season
I think his loyalty to Johnny Bananas in past seasons hurt him too~he was like a rock for Johnny to help him win, but I don’t think he would ever do the same for Leroy 😕 But if the same people come back season after season, then a blindside is basically impossible 😕

Why is nobody talking about the fact that Theresa got a bunch of the girls in her heat to throw the challenge. That was a big part of the episode she literally told them let go and they did. That’s the only reason she ALMOST won at all. So if the men are weak for not competing so are the women who threw the challenge for Theresa. Good for Amber B for standing her ground!

The only thing I can think of was that she did it because Nam and Jay were each other's main alliance and she thought that Nam wasn't in danger but Jay was. Still I'm surprised. It is personal for him...he has 2 kids now. He's taking time out to compete for them. The eliminations have also been by people he considers friends. I understand his frustrations... and I've never liked that guy, but he seems more mature then in the past.

I’m so happy that Leroy won. I love Jay but his departure is Theresa’s fault. Her plan only benefited her and put a huge target on Jay. I just hope that the next girls elimination is physical and that Kaycee or Lolo can take her out.
I loved Jay on Survivor and always rooting for him here, but he's never been someone with good game play unfortunately. Very likeable, but not strategic at all, he made quite a few bad decisions on Survivor. Hopefully he has success in the future as I'm sure they'll bring him back!
He’s the kind of person that needs to link up with Wes or Devin. He’s just not strategic at all. But has a lot of heart, like Big T. Jay is like-able but also gullible. It sucks. I def rather see a competitor like him than Fessy or Kyle. 🙄
Leroy has a huge shot at winning this season. Now that he has his skull there a good chance he won't get thrown in unless it's for Kaycee or some unforeseen betrayal. Cause i feel like every guy will be gunning for the last guy skull or stealing easier skulls like Devin's and Kyle's skull instead of him. As long as he doesn't get screwed or there isn't some twist when Kaycee wants to go it, hes pretty set up to be in the final.

Everyone is blaming Theresa for Jay's elimination but Jay willingly went along with her plan. He should've played his hand differently. Everyone agrees it was a good move for Theresa but bad move for Jay so you can't really blame Theresa for doing what's best for her. Blame Jay for making a bad move for his game.
I love Jay! He's a great competitor. Reminds me a little bit of Jordan, in the sense that they're always ready to give it their all when they play. They both have that mindset of "it's a game, let's play, whatever will be will be," but they'll give it their all.
I’m gonna give it one more season after this one but these last few seasons aren’t as interesting. Lots of boring people in the house now and the show has gotten more serious instead of being light and fun like it was before
it seems like everything jay does he just can't do right in anyone's eyes. it's kind of annoying lol. even the host is against him and framing her questions that way.
One thing about that challenge. I don't think everyone realizes how hard it would've been to get someone like CT or Fessy or even Leroy off of that bag. These are very large, heavy men who wrapped their arms around the netting. If MTV really wanted to see a challenge it should've been on some sort of slippery platform or something.

To answer fessy's question/curiosity, leroy never won because he got too comfortable politically. Everybody loves leroy so in a challenge prior where the skulls werent needed, he was good because no one would vote him in. Leroy is a beast in eliminations, only losing to tough competitors like CT, hunter, jordan&marlon. But his lack of puzzles & swimming always had him down competitively. That & him saying he never tries to win a daily because he doesnt want to be in power. The drive he has this season shouldve been applied seasons ago. Gonna miss him after this season. Def was a favorite of mines since his RW season
100% agreed, he’s definitely a top 5 fav for me for challengers all time.

I think his loyalty to Johnny Bananas in past seasons hurt him too~he was like a rock for Johnny to help him win, but I don’t think he would ever do the same for Leroy 😕 But if the same people come back season after season, then a blindside is basically impossible 😕

Absolutely. Did you notice at the WOTW2 reunion bananas said he wanted leroy to make the final but didnt mention wanting him to win? I've stated times i dont even think they're best friends. Leroy was a pawn to bananas. Leroy & brandon from fresh meat 2 are real close friends. If only he noticed this early on but he was blinded by being next to a champ.

Why is nobody talking about the fact that Theresa got a bunch of the girls in her heat to throw the challenge. That was a big part of the episode she literally told them let go and they did. That’s the only reason she ALMOST won at all. So if the men are weak for not competing so are the women who threw the challenge for Theresa. Good for Amber B for standing her ground!

The only thing I can think of was that she did it because Nam and Jay were each other's main alliance and she thought that Nam wasn't in danger but Jay was. Still I'm surprised. And I'm also surprised that anyone believed that Theresa could actually throw Lolo off (it seemed to me that production wasn't aware that some of the girls threw the competition until later which is why none of the girls got punished).

Jay is SUCH a good addition to the show. One of the best guys we have seen in a very long time
Pretty good episode minus the men's daily. Leroy absolutely crushed that elimination, Jay did good as well. Kamroy forever.

I’m so happy that Leroy won. I love Jay but his departure is Theresa’s fault. Her plan only benefited her and put a huge target on Jay. I just hope that the next girls elimination is physical and that Kaycee or Lolo can take her out.

Jay seems to be a good guy, with a bad partner, who made a horrible choice.
I loved Jay on Survivor and always rooting for him here, but he's never been someone with good game play unfortunately. Very likeable, but not strategic at all, he made quite a few bad decisions on Survivor. Hopefully he has success in the future as I'm sure they'll bring him back!
He’s the kind of person that needs to link up with Wes or Devin. He’s just not strategic at all. But has a lot of heart, like Big T. Jay is like-able but also gullible. It sucks. I def rather see a competitor like him than Fessy or Kyle. 🙄
Leroy has a huge shot at winning this season. Now that he has his skull there a good chance he won't get thrown in unless it's for Kaycee or some unforeseen betrayal. Cause i feel like every guy will be gunning for the last guy skull or stealing easier skulls like Devin's and Kyle's skull instead of him. As long as he doesn't get screwed or there isn't some twist when Kaycee wants to go it, hes pretty set up to be in the final.
And beacuse of last season i was really rooting for Jay too 😔

I gave up on this season after tonight. It’s just not the same without certain people and I’m over it.
I’m gonna give it one more season after this one but these last few seasons aren’t as interesting. Lots of boring people in the house now and the show has gotten more serious instead of being light and fun like it was before

One thing about that challenge. I don't think everyone realizes how hard it would've been to get someone like CT or Fessy or even Leroy off of that bag. These are very large, heavy men who wrapped their arms around the netting. If MTV really wanted to see a challenge it should've been on some sort of slippery platform or something.
