- Everlast heavy bag stand review with a 80 (lb) bag. I tried to throw hardest puches I could to demonstrate how well it would hold up.
PROS/CONS
PROS-
-Soild durable construction
-Assemble in under an hour
-Easy to move around
- Doesn’t move around to much if you put weight on it (50 lb sand bag)
CONS-
-Takes up alot of space
-Doesn’t come with weight plates
-Payed $130 for it
- Fairly loud
-May damage non-concrete floor
Don't switch stances and bring the bag higher. Watch some youtube videos about how to punch properly. I think to learn how to punch properly you should first start punching with your bare hands on the bag not to hard just to learn how to punch properly.
Okay bro….
He said it’s just a stress reliever for him he never said he knew how to box
being able to switch stances and be good at it is such a nice skill and technique to have....
@@raulgutierrez3050 not really unless youre naturally gifted. the time it takes someone to train both stances equally-someone else would be training 1 stance and being twice as good as you
Head down, good stance, hands up. The only think I'd recommend is moving your head after combinations.
Could base of the stand interfere with your feet? I mean it looks dangerous that you might step on them, is it far enough?
Yeah I’ve had it for a year now, and the base interfere with my feet and it feels really uncomfortable sometimes. I’ve tripped over it a couple times as well. So I wouldn’t recommend it now.
@@allaroundsamsound like a whimp. Maybe figure out how to use your body
Where did you buy the spring set up
Off amazon, just search up heavy bag spring. Thanks for watching!
yayy!!😘
Bruh what are you doing
@@allaroundsam supporting my lil bro ofc!!!😊💕💞🥰♥
do you think I could use that everlast bag stand with a different punching bag? or are they only meant for everlast punching bags?
No, you can use any bag as long as it has a hook on the bag. Thanks for watching!
Technique needs a little work 😉
True, I was just trying to go hard as I could to show how sturdy the setup is. Thanks for watching!
@@allaroundsam understandable. Some of your punches are a little loopy, may I ask suggest getting your shoulders behind the punches more . Almost like you're throwing a shotput, but with knuckles down. Keep in mind the part of your hand you're aiming to land the punch with is the middle two upper knuckles on the hand/fist. Practice throwing to land that part on the bag and then put shoulder behind it. That'll make your punches much more powerful, u know just in case u ever have to save the day for a lady friend or something...
@@CornPopWazABadDude ummmmm ew get help...serious help! reported!
Exhale as you hit the bag.
Nice, Thanks for watching!
Foot work is ok bro just work on your hands .You might break them the way your holding them .But not bad?

I have that same set up but I have the dual one I put 8 sand bags and it doesn’t move. The platform for the speed bag broke on me. So I ended up picking up two round wood for the platform going to install it tomorrow I just need longer bolts. Great video
Thanks for watching!
I keep hearing the speed bag platform is bad, still want to get it though
what stand is that bro? looks nice small and compact i need one for my room@@allaroundsam
Thanks for the review. I have two questions. 2:54 I hear some noise while the heavy bag is swaying. Can you tell me the source of the noise? Is it coming from the chain? or the black spring? or the part where the chains and carabiner rub against each other? Another question is that what the function of the spring is. Thanks in advance!
Hi, the main source of the noise is from the bag and not the stand, it’s coming from the chain. I put tape between the metal part so it’s not metal on metal. And I put the spring to reduce noise and impact when hitting the bag, but it doesn’t really help all that much. Thanks for watching!
@@allaroundsam Thanks for your reply! I appreciate it!
I've been debating to myself on whether to get This, or a Wavemaster. If I decide to go with this, then,I think that I would just get the 40 lb bag though. Seems like the tower would last Much Longer with a Much Lighter Bag hanging down.
Hi, it depends on how you want to train. On a heavy bag you can’t really throw hard punches all time to relive stress, but with the wave master it might be more versatile. Thanks for watching!
You’re just using one 50 pound sand bag?
Yes I use 1 bag, got it from Home Depot for about $5
@@allaroundsam nice bro I think I’m just gonna hang mine with an i Beam clamp. It’s a lot cheaper plus in my garage the ceiling is pretty low
@@MarcoLiftz sounds good how’s it been holding up?
The hooks are telegraphed but if you land it! GOOD NIGHT IRENE!
Did you have any weights holding down the stand to stop movement or no? Good workout!...
Hi, I do not have any weight plates but I do have a 50 lb sand bag that is sitting on the back of stand. The 50 lb bag is really all you need and it cost about $5 from Home Depot.
You can go heavier if you want but for me a 50 lb bag stops most movement of the stand
Just got the same set up different heavy bag you still beating this thing up? Great Video bro!
Yeah, it's still holding up, thanks for watching!
Dose the heavybag's height adjust? My basement is kind of short.
No, the actual stand can not be adjusted. But the heavy bag itself can be brought up or down depending on what chain you put it in.
Nice right hook
Yeah for a girl
With weak punches*
Thanks for watching the video!
I hope you’re able to use your time wisely and not comment and irrelevant things
