Kind of thought you might offer an opinion on suspension, low end, ergonomics, brakes.. something. All we got was a sprocket change and you feel the jetting is crisp. Wow. Can I get my 10:42 back?
More to come. It was my initial ride. Hard to tell with studs on bike, how good or bad suspension is. Well get a better idea of bike in the spring. It is very much winter up here now.
I don't believe anything has changed from the '20 to '21 except for cosmetic changes and suspension revalving. Seems quite smooth riding even compared to my 2020 ktm 250xc.
Thanks! Maybe in the spring I will do a comparison. We have lots of snow right now. Beta is more linear for sure and course has quite a bit more torque.
I only have a couple hours on beta so far and I have studded tires on which are more rigid than normal tires. Suspension seems to be good so far. Maybe a touch on the soft side. Have not touched the clickers so far.
@@ricardodias6356 Yeah possibly. I know Kyle from dirtbike channel said his was thirsty too. He tried a lectron and a smart carb and got the same results. Might just be a thirsty bike. I know I can go over 60 miles which is alot of single track riding that I do.
Adjust the float ... they come high from Keihin... and piss fuel... you will notice a big improvement immediately... I am also a fan of JD jet kit... you get the recommended needle... and you have all the jets and the chart if you travel anywhere with the bike... the carbs for the betas need a little setup...
The four stroke is a great bike. But, the 2 stroke brings more smiles. Congratulations on the new bike.
Thanks! Still have the yz250f as well.
I can’t believe the power and suspension on these bikes man they’re incredible. I had a chance to ride one last fall and wow amazing
Yeah they are a awesome bike!
I'm picking mine up tomorrow finally after 9 weeks of waiting. Can't wait!
It's worth the wait for sure!
I just bought mine this week; no ride yet. I was wondering why you went to the 13th tooth sprocket?
Congrats on the new bike! I just wanted some more low end grunt for the gnarly stuff.

Hope they improved the kickstand. My 2020 kickstand is frigid usless
They put a larger foot on it, but the height of the kickstand should be higher. Leans over quite a bit.
@@whiskeythrottledave that is exactly what I thought when I got my 2021.
Are vibrations improved at all over the 2020 model?

Do you like those hand guards? I haven’t put handguards on mine yet.
I ended up installing the Tusk full wrap handguards on. Didn't feel comfortable in the tight single track with the cycra rebounds.
That’s one awesome looking trail! What state you in? Also nice bike!
Thanks! The trail is actually in Alberta Canada in the Canadian Rockies.
Picked mine up today!!
Enjoy!
Great video!! Whats it like riding your Beta apposed to the 250F? Maybe you can do a little video on it, that would be cool 😎

I've got a 2017 300 xtrainer( absolutely love it ) I was wondering how you like the suspension on the RR ?

My Beta seems a touch on the softer side as well
how is the milage? mine is a little bit thirsty even after a few hours.
Yeah mine is a little thirsty as well. Used a little more than half a tank in roughly 2 hours of riding .
@@whiskeythrottledave mine is a little bit more but i have a lot of open roads to unleash but maybe because break in of the engine.

Get a smart carb and you will get about 30% better in fuel mileage. I get about 80 miles
