Have you seen someone steal your sticker and the other person suddenly sees your camera?! at time: 4:38 this is the reason why I don't take such displays, you block visitors who you don't see from the side and don't see your stuff, and it's not really friendly to customers if you stand behind the scenes.
I didn't see anyone steal stickers. Customers can't steal the stickers because the way I set those up is by sticking them to the panels for display. If they want a sticker, they must tell me what kind they want by pointing it out. They were probably looking at the buttons or pointing at the cat pins on the table. I also had a decent peripheral vision of what was happening. Thank you for bringing it to my attention though! I can see how this setup can bring anxiety.
Don’t you worry about your view being so blocked and you sitting so much while people are gathered in front of your stuff? I mean since I’ve heard multiple people saying they have had theft. 😊
That is definitely a concern especially nowadays! I usually try to trust people not to do such things but we all know not everyone will behave that way, hahaha. I also prioritized my customers not to feel intimidated by me and my stare therefore, I adjusted my display like so! But yes, you are right, I've heard lots of artists are experiencing theft! It's so unfortunate. I'm definitely taking that into consideration and will see if I can improve my setup to avoid that when I can :) Thank you for your comment and concern!
