The First Take performances hold a special place in my heart since they are the very first videos I ever saw of XG. I don’t know if I had even heard of XG before but I was scrolling through the First Take’s archives after watching (G)I-DLE’s videos there. The thumbnail for Shooting Star caught my attention and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. The It’s Live videos are maybe even better because of the live band. But I’ve never seen anyone react to It’s Live before; I think they tend to get blocked for copyright so watch out for that.
You are correct on the shooting star chorus, hinata & jurin on the first part, then maya & cocona and lastly jurin & harvey splitting the chorus verses. Damn, you really need to see their losing you by flo cover and peaches by justin beiber at this point mayne they have separate MVs for em 💯🔥 Edit: and yes its first take coz its just 1 take ur right 👍🏼

Rock Remix of Shooting Star is my favorite. They did it Live on Tour and it was glorious. They did a Rock Remix of Left Right too that was really good.
That WWY is damn near magical. I can't wait until Christmas time. They have so much more of a following now than when this was released. I think the song is going to be banging all winter. As for Shooting Star, I like this version as well. But i think the "It's Live" version is better, IMO. Not from a sonic standpoint, but from a groove perspective. The live band kills it and the girls get into the song more because they can move and dance versus the "First Take" version. You should check out it. Nice reaction ✌🏾

The lives are def their first time really doing the band thing and I like watching them to learn how they settle into them. 11:37 it’s my favourite way to tell if an idol is actually singing live or not. As a vocal coach, I know that live singing doesn’t equal pretty facial expressions 😅 especially when it comes to falsetto and very low notes/tones. It’s an instant give away
