Great video. I just picked up a cub 1200. My 7 year old boy and I plan to work on it together this winter. It should be fun... as long as I can find sources like this. Thanks for taking the time to make the video.

Good job troubleshooting. That part has been used on the old Cub Cadets for years. I have 2 1968 125's which use it. In those days the clutch/brake pedal was the only safety switch on the tractor. Mine have never broken and I've had one of them since 1972 and used it year round and still today. Just don't make stuff like that any more.

I think half of my collection has had them hot wired over tge years. I know a few of the brackes are missing, some people may have just not wanted them for some reason. Nice thing is the old tractors are pretty simple to work on.

I have an ltx 1045. Changed, solenoid, battery, and starter. Still just get a weird buzzing/clicking under seat when I try to start it. No crank. Any ideas?

@@steiger256 I'm also looking for some tires like that. Old Cubby's are really fun to work on. I have a 1330 and have done quite a bit to it.
