GTA IV's endings: heartbreaking as Niko loses someone he loves regardless. TLaD's ending: sad especially knowing what becomes of Johnny and The Lost. TBoGT's ending: light-hearted and fun as Luis was able to make ends meet.
And yeah, the homeless man just found the diamonds in the trash there since they were thrown in a dump truck by a thug during Niko's side of things in the Gracie exchange. An article after the ending of GTA IV states that the homeless man earned ownership of the diamonds and will open a shop in Vice City. So I would love to see him in GTA 6. Provided that Rockstar didn't forget about it. Overall though, I really enjoyed your playthrough of this and look forward to your next adventure!

Yes, that was a happy ending just like the Deathwish ending in GTA V! Sad that this series is over, but you can also play the Max Payne series and LA Noire, they're different from GTA but just as awesome to play! Also, since you've played Red Dead Redemption 2, you could play the first Red Dead Redemption because it works as a sequel to RDR2 and the game becomes much better with that!
The story of the diamonds which starts in the first cutscene of gta 4 when the chef hides the diamond in the soup, actually ends in the final cutscene of the last dlc, where the homeless dude picks them up out of the trash after they're thrown in the trash by Bulgarin's goon. I love this side story becauee it brings the protagonists together so many times, is interesting, and has many fun missions.

Louis is a very likeable protagonist because he is not fully psycho. He tries the hospitality router first always which is why he did not expect snipers firing at his head after he saw the severed head. He also says he likes to try and talk to people and get to know them in the Assassination mission with Timur. You can't help but to root for a guy who is not just thinking of himself but for others. He gives his mom money even though she always talks bad about his decisions. Just a greatly written dude.

If you had the music on then you would have been able to hear a badass techno song playing during the parachuting at the end. It's called No Security by Crookers.
Congrats for completing GTAs. Now you've played all main GTAs. There are still VIce City Stories and Liberty City Stories but i think they're only available for PS2/PSP.
My recommendation for you is Saint's Row. It is similar to GTA but more gang oriented. Difference is that in Saint's Row there is much more customizable. You get to choose your characters clothes, hair, tattoos, sex, race and even voice. Plus car and motorcycle customization.
Now don't bother with new Saint's Row. That sucks. Best place to start is from Saint's Row (2006) and continue with Saint's Row 2 (2008). Those games were pinnacle of the series.

Niko easily since he fought in real war and recieved hand to hand combat training. Trevor is crazy but Niko is professional killer.
