I PAID to play, travel, condition myself. Trained year round and practiced in sleet, snow, hail, torrential rains, and thunderstorms (the last one was stupid). Fought the established-sports dominated system to get access to fields. Tournaments that sometimes had 5 games back to back…on Saturday alone. Then sometimes followed by 3 games on Sunday. Yeah, Ultimate is a non-contact sport. So is basketball. Brace up and Bolt Up.
