James thank you for discussing one of the issues with Too Faced. As someone who used to use Too Faced eyeshadow palettes religiously from 2016-2017, I can tell that the palettes have been looking the same recently. I think it’s because they were bought out by Estée Lauder, because ever since that happened….they haven’t come out with any crazy good new products other than the Ethereal concealer. Their prime years were definitely 2014-2016 especially with their holiday collections. If they truly want to bring back those glory years and rebuild their fan base back, they need to start creating products and collections that are completely brand new, and not sister collections to what they already have.

omg yesss girlie, you literally hit it on the mark. literally ever since the ethereal concealer, i dont think they've come out with any other hit product(s), lowkey there cloud blushes went a bit viral but like thats it...... I know there team has potential to create some good hit products but i feel like everytime too faced comes out with a product theres always like a problem with it or it just doesnt perform to their claims so im like 🫠🫠🫠🫠. i just hope they can do better in the future
I absolutely love the ethereal light concealer, so when I saw you picked it I was so excited. It’s better used with natural looks. Would love to see James do a full face of too faced! It’s my fav makeup brand

These stores are in most outlet malls! A lot of touristy/vacation destinations have outlets with stores like this and discount luxury perfume stores!! I used to get Bobbi Brown eyeshadow singles 1/2 off at places like this :)

Hey! i love the video😍 I work for MAC and we send of our old products or collections of and they get sold in these stores. So it is usually a random mix of things. But still a great discount if you find what your looking for 😊

So funny enough, I worked for The Cosmetics Company store! It’s an Overstock store, and we will usually get products that either the company has too much of, or products that have finished a release (like a Christmas collection or holiday collection) where they haven’t sold everything. The company sells anything under the Estée Lauder ownership, and they even have Tom Ford makeup! When I worked there, I built a full drag makeup kit worth about $4,000, for like $1,000 haha! We would always be checking for expiration dates, and anything that did expire on the shelves would be boxed up, and sent to corporate to be destroyed, so no expired makeup is sold!

in the UK outlet centres we have The Cosmetics Company Store AND Beauty Outlet. the difference between the two are that the first one has discounted makeup and beauty products that are more high end than the second one which has more drugstore/indie brand products.

The Cosmetics Company Store is actually own by Estee Lauder Company. it's not expired makeup, its mostly a way for them to sell "older" or overstock products and still make a profit even tho it's cheaper. So win win for everyone.
The estee lauder double wear foundation and the mac spiked eyebrow pencil are some of my fave products !!!!
