I don't know if it's just my bad luck, but most of the Genesis I face do one of these three things: play badly, play very well (but still die) or spam the charge just for the sake of it .I don't know if it's a general thing among Genesis, but I always find a Genesis that uses the charge whenever it can.
I like the Genesis remodel and the new playstyle but it just doesn’t fit me personally. You know me, a Sorgon Main. And I agree with you. Just a repeated melee moveset but with two different names and all. Mist Bomb is def cool and probably one of the top utilities. Bulldozers “grab” ability is neat. The fact we can keep them in our bomb is amazing or drag them away from someone or something. So yeah, I agree with you.
