Have you tried putting the holes in with a sewing machine needle with no thread. Just setting the width of the stitch to create the holes so you don’t have to keep starting and stopping to make the holes. Using like a leather or heavy denim needle in the machine would make it go faster. Just a thought.
Have you done a design on the top of the bill, from the bottom seam line (the guide on the top you’re using now) to the third or fourth seam up towards the crown? I’m curious how to do the front curves since they’re so much sharper than the bill curve is. Any chance you can do a video on this?
Thank you for sharing your beading techniques. I have difficulty beading the curve of the bill of the cap. Any pointers you can share? Gunalche'esh (Thank you), hugz beve
Would the same method apply to a graduation cap? I want to bead my college graduation cap but I don't know even know where to start 😂 I love your work and your color stories they're so beautiful ✨✨
There's a tutorial on RUclips for a grad cap...hope it helps. Also I've been beading a few hats and really love seeing the different ways to do hats. I use upholstery T pins to make my holes. And I used a pair of tweezers to pull my needle thru on difficult passes thru. Thank you for making this tutorial. I wanted to ask how you bead your curves on the bill? I always struggle when I get to that part....😊
good evening Miss Cheyenne I am very interested in learning how to bead the Caps that you're showing but right this very minute I'm more interested in purchasing a cat for a very close friend as a very special gift could you

Are you poking new holes or going through the seam holes?

WAW
The tool is an AWL.
Pronounced as with an O. ORL.
Where are you from? I havent heard anyone call an awl an "owl" before. In Canada its pronounced as "all".
Awesome
Awesome video straight to the point. Clear directions and seems simple enough. Hats seem the way to go since it’s almost summer 🖤 #senecanation
When you thread your needle, do you knot it on just a single end or double up the thread?
Looks like a single thread
Do you just knot the thread itself and it won't go through the bill?
I guess I'll find out today :D I think my awl should be coming in the mail today.
Do you just do a knot to end it?
Where do you buy your owl tool?
I got mine on Amazon but you can find in a sewing store and I heard Walmart too
It is an AWL. A tool. And in glad you advised using an AWL. I never thought of that. I used a pliers before. Now I'll use an AWL. Thank you.
