This looks amazing, thank you! Looking forward to giving this a go with my Year 2 (Grade 1) little boy. We have loved addition facts that stick so looking forward to adding to that with more games and fun hands-on learning. Thank you again! 😊 x
I am switching to Math with Confidence (grade 1). However, I also purchased Addition Facts that Stick and Subtraction Facts that Stick, also by Kate Snow. Does anyone have any idea on how to incorporate the two "Facts that Stick" books into the curriculum, or should I do the "Facts" books first?
Hi Jeanette, we asked Kate, and she recommends starting with First Grade Math, which covers the addition and subtraction facts. If your student would benefit from more addition and subtraction review after completing First Grade Math with Confidence, the Facts that Stick books are perfect for over-the-summer review.
@@WellTrainedMindOfficial Wow! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to Kate and for providing me with her response. I am excited to start Math with Confidence with my student. Thank you!!!
We are currently finishing up Singapore Dimensions 1A, and I’m debating switching to MWC rather than continuing to 1B… I’m not sure if I should buy into grade 1 or start him with Grade 2 MWC? We’re working on add/sub facts to 20 and he doesn’t quite have them memorized.
Hi, Kate will be sharing details on her website later this week, but based on standardized testing trails, students typically score extremely high for each grade level. Children should be more than prepared for 7th grade at the completion of this curriculum.
My granddaughter is 3 years old. She is using Preschool Math At Home. Because she will eventually enter the public school system. When she gets to Kindergarten. This curriculum covers all the math standards for the state of Illinois. My plan is to purchase Math With Confidence Kindergarten. Next spring and not starting the program. Until she has been in school. Several months so she would be doing review. For topics already covered. Should workout perfect.
Hello from Belize, I am a homeschooling parent of an autistic six year old boy. My son loves math he is very very good at mental math. He knows multiplication up to 10 and is adding double digits / regrouping , comparing numbers , place value , 2D shapes , units and such. I am trying to decide which grade level is best for him, seeing a flip through of this book seem too easy for him is there a link to see a flip through of grade 2/3 ?
Greetings! We love that your son loves math! We're still developing grades 2 and 3 (grade 2 is due out early next summer), but, based on your list of his skills, it sounds like grade 1 is appropriate for him.
K Math with confidence was great! We are looking forward to using your program again for first grade. Thank you for the flip-through.
I am going to be getting this for my first grader! It looks and sounds amazing!

This was so helpful! Thank you! Just ordered to use for summer review for our 1st grader.
Thank you! So helpful! Going to order this for my two older kids this year, I think!
(I love your cover pages too, BTW. Very cute!
Do you know if this series is traditional math or common core?

You should use MWC Grade 1 and look at the table of contents to choose where to start your child (probably unit 6).
What is the big picture of this curriculum? Meaning, once completed all 6 levels, what is the child going to be ready for in 7th grade??

@@WellTrainedMindOfficial Thank you for responding certainly will pick up a copy of grade 1
Seems like he has already mastered all the stuff and beyond. He'll definitely need something more advanced than 10-7=3
