Haven't been in school for 10 years now. Just started College for my Mechanical Engineering degree. Your classes have been so helpful in dusting the cobwebs of the material I haven't seen in a decade. Thank you for your smooth teaching skills!
@@Tommy.Pickles I am just now in my 3rd semester, going slowly at 2 classes at a time. I did not do great in Trig I discovered I need either in-class or online live for Math class or I do terribly. Redoing Trig this coming Fall so hopefully better this time around. How about yourself??
@@devanbarrett6366 I am literally trying to cover as much of the material as I can. I’m using prof Leonard’s precalculus for trig however I’ve not really found any good/comprehensive trigonometry videos tutorials. My degree is part time so hopefully can keep up with the pace a little better. I have a HNC (I’m in the U.K.) which allows me to start my second year. Just trying to refresh as much as possible before September.
@@Tommy.Pickles Try organic Chemistry trig playlist along with prof leonard precalculus playlist. Also get the book prof Leonard uses in his precalc videos and just do a bunch of practice problems. You will make it bro just stay consistent both of you! One day at a time.
I Just want to thank Professor Leonard. He has made my college life! It has been over 20 years that I have done any math class. His lectures are amazing and you can see his passion for math while he teaches. I loved math in school and he is making me love it again!!!
I hadn't done math in 20 years but after watching all of your TTP and intermediate videos, I took my entrance exams and passed with flying colors. I always hated math when I was younger, but I kind of like it now! I'm taking calc and stats for my major and I feel so much more confident knowing I have Professor Leonard as my secret weapon! Thank you!!!
I was in a very similar situation except it was 12 years ago, about 4 years ago. I went through all of Leonard's lectures and proceeded to studying calculus-based university physics and just CRUSHING the whole 1500 page book. He has a true gift. Now, from a total hoodlum who needed to learn how to add 2 fractions together, I'm in a software engineering BSc degree and the math they teach here I can do with closed eyes! Leonard for the win!!!
Professor Leonard, your class has really helped me and my friends since we started watching your videos. I always share your link for others too to benefit. God bless you and thank you so much. staaay blessed.
You have been visited by the Professor Leonard of good math skills. Deep knowledge of mathematics will come to you but ONLY if you comment THanks mr. Professor Leonardo
I really enjoy Mathematics and Statistics thanks to Prof Leonard. The way he explains concepts is exactly what I look for in math. What am I doing and why am I doing it? Two questions he answers without fail! Math is fun :)
Why exactly do we multiply by the conjugate at 1:29:14 ? I solved it by multiplying simply by 5i and got the same result, but with the negative in the denominator which is not a problem, because you can just put it in the numerator. 6/5i * 5i/5i -> 30i / 25i*i -> 30i / 25(-1) -> 30i / -25 -> -30i/25. Or at 1:37:00 if we multiply 2/3i not by -3i, but by 3i we get 2/-3 i which is the same as -2/3 i ...
Hello Professor Leonard, I have an about conjugate at 1h23min of the video you took the denominator to multiply the conjugate, why can't we take numerator conjugate? @professor Leonard
nowadays superman is helping people to learn. superman is so social. But you are really a superman professor .Thank you sir

Professor misspeaks at 37:26 The imaginary part of a + bi is b, a real number. The imaginary part is the coefficient of i.
Great lecture, i actually get the math the way he teaches it.
Please making these videos ! I am from NTU Singapore and you are helping me pass my modules in computer science!!
Professor Leonard,
Thank you for the incredible enthusiasm and energy that has become a beacon of hope for me...
Thanks 😊

no wonder you are professor, thanks for you time and the great video
i even cant say he is the best,,He is a great teacher...kudos
you are a saviour thanks so much
Man I wish I found this channel at the start of the semester and not like 5 mins before my finals :(
Really appreciate your videos. I am reviewing to the the Middle School math praxis. Do you have anything on Geometry?
Professor Leonard thanks for everything ,I really appreciate that.
Your videos are so great... thank you !!
Passed another test today thank you Professor for these amazing videos !!
Thank you so much! Your videos really help
Professor Leonard a GOAT even 10 years later😂
My "Casio CG-20" calculator gives the result "i". =)
I can even enter exp(i*π/2) and get "i" as the answer.
Awesome calculator.

i have this question as well.
still saving lives in 2020
Leonard thanks so much!
Thak you ,from egypt 🤗
1:31:20 can't you just multiply both fractions by i and get the same answer?
Yes - I think the reason why he used "-5i" was because this was more clearly related to the complex conjugate.
damn he is so good
I learned it better than reading the textbook
thank you, professor
you can always count on Professor Leonard
If z=cosθ+isinθ and w=sinα+icosα. Express Z x W in the form p+qi, where p, q∈R. Hence find the maximum value of p^2+q^2
Oh seven years ago you were sweet and now you are sweetest 🥰
Professor Leonard is a sweetie.
Dam, u r good teacher!
Thank you!
Prof. i want a lectures on mathematical induction.
Hello Professor Leonard, I have an about conjugate at 1h23min of the video you took the denominator to multiply the conjugate, why can't we take numerator conjugate? @professor Leonard
thank you
I think there is little mistake at 37:45. "bi" is not imaginary part. Imaginary part is "b". "i" is imaginary unit ;-) Great video anyway.
If I had known Professor Leonard before I had to choose my major, I would have chosen Mathematics as my major. :(
please Professor Leonard, I want the exponent complex number. the 6 root and the rest
More number theory!
6:56 got me off guard :D
please can you tell me which book do your students have in Algebra?
