Haven't been in school for 10 years now. Just started College for my Mechanical Engineering degree. Your classes have been so helpful in dusting the cobwebs of the material I haven't seen in a decade. Thank you for your smooth teaching skills!

@@Tommy.Pickles I am just now in my 3rd semester, going slowly at 2 classes at a time. I did not do great in Trig I discovered I need either in-class or online live for Math class or I do terribly. Redoing Trig this coming Fall so hopefully better this time around. How about yourself??

@@devanbarrett6366 I am literally trying to cover as much of the material as I can. I’m using prof Leonard’s precalculus for trig however I’ve not really found any good/comprehensive trigonometry videos tutorials. My degree is part time so hopefully can keep up with the pace a little better. I have a HNC (I’m in the U.K.) which allows me to start my second year. Just trying to refresh as much as possible before September.

I Just want to thank Professor Leonard. He has made my college life! It has been over 20 years that I have done any math class. His lectures are amazing and you can see his passion for math while he teaches. I loved math in school and he is making me love it again!!!

I hadn't done math in 20 years but after watching all of your TTP and intermediate videos, I took my entrance exams and passed with flying colors. I always hated math when I was younger, but I kind of like it now! I'm taking calc and stats for my major and I feel so much more confident knowing I have Professor Leonard as my secret weapon! Thank you!!!

I was in a very similar situation except it was 12 years ago, about 4 years ago. I went through all of Leonard's lectures and proceeded to studying calculus-based university physics and just CRUSHING the whole 1500 page book. He has a true gift. Now, from a total hoodlum who needed to learn how to add 2 fractions together, I'm in a software engineering BSc degree and the math they teach here I can do with closed eyes! Leonard for the win!!!

I can even enter exp(i*π/2) and get "i" as the answer.

Why exactly do we multiply by the conjugate at 1:29:14 ? I solved it by multiplying simply by 5i and got the same result, but with the negative in the denominator which is not a problem, because you can just put it in the numerator. 6/5i * 5i/5i -> 30i / 25i*i -> 30i / 25(-1) -> 30i / -25 -> -30i/25. Or at 1:37:00 if we multiply 2/3i not by -3i, but by 3i we get 2/-3 i which is the same as -2/3 i ...

Yes - I think the reason why he used "-5i" was because this was more clearly related to the complex conjugate.
