As a long-term Tarheel it pains me to say this but UNC cannot beat this Duke team this year. Duke is playing great even though the ACC as a conference is down in talent this year. Duke is at the head of the class. Congrats on a great win.

This is a Final Four Duke team. I’ve seen 40 teams play and not many where everyone is playing so well together. Maybe 2010 and 2001 but they are special this year.

Corey Maggette coming off the bench (similar to Isaiah Evans for this year's team)! Did not win a title. 37-2 and 16-0 in conference when the ACC was stacked year after year. Devastating loss in the NCAA Championship game. I remember that game, Calhoun outcoached Mike K and made better use of his personnel late in the game (specifically with Omeka Okafor). But that Duke team was better than many of our title winning teams.
Dear Jon, Please make sure Kon Knueppel's brothers come to every Duke game so he can play this consistent every night! Don't let your foot off the gas, big emotional win. Make sure to take out Clemson on the road to seal the ACC. Nearly big games every Saturday starting with last night. Be prepared.
This game was more reflective of the size disparity. Duke has overwhelming size and length. UNC is simply too small at every position against this Duke team. Think about all the times UNC switched Mark Mitchell out of the post last year and he would end up guarding Cadeau in the corner, exposing our lack of size to defend and rebound - you even saw some of this when Maliq Brown was in the game late in the 2nd half when UNC was making a "comeback." This year Duke can switch without hesitation given its length and size. Ever heard of positionless? Sion James is the epitome of a positionless defender guarding 1-5, but when you have nearly an entire starting 5 (with Maliq coming off the bench - ACC DPOY last year) that can be this versatile, it's special. It will work THIS YEAR with THIS TEAM. But it won't be effective with every Duke team unless Jon brings in the right pieces again.
Great win tonight, my only complaint would be the way they relaxed the last 10 minutes or so (could have easily won by 25-30 points). Go Duke, Natty # 6 comin' up!!

90-92 is whom they're playing like. That's the foundation and the standard. Unfortunately, we will never get to see them play 3 to 4 years together.
