I love the Balmain hats of the 1960s. So elegante!
C’était émouvant..! Et beau.. le manteau d’opera, la veste en fourrure de perles, le mohair et les perles, et encore plein de choses. C’est un défilé plein de pièces marquantes. On dit que les millenials sont la pire des générations, avec leurs selfies etc. Mais c’est aussi une génération qui est très sensible à l’histoire, aux archives, à preserver et réhabiliter les savoir-faire.
Très beau défilé et incroyable création. Seul bémol, c’est quand qu’on commence à mettre plus en avant des modèles de toutes tailles.?!

I can’t imagine how long it took to create those pearl and rhinestone encrusted garments. The clothing brought glamour back. It’s so nice to see pretty clothes again.
Gorgeous clothing with a hint of the whimsical n the agelessly elegant...n every time I hear the name Balmain I remember a song from back in the day by Peter Sarstedt who sang abt a jet-setting woman he called, "my lovely", whose clothes were all made by Balmain n wore diamonds n pearls in her hair, So I find this show kinda nostalgic...Bravo to Rousteing👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️❤️❤️ !!! Les années d’or , retour aux sources , tout notre savoir faire !!! La haute couture dans toute sa splendeur , celle qu’on oubliera jamais ( 62 ans aujourd’hui et élevée avec elle !!! ) . Les années 50 , 60 , 70 …. De la pure magie à mon sens , l’ Art de la féminité me semblant un peu égarée de nos jours que certaines nouvelles générations ne comprennent pas forcément la trouvant souvent un peu trop pompeuse ! Rien ne peux dévier ce que j’en pense et reste fidèle à notre identité , notre culture jusqu’à l’ éducation de mes enfants…. Très émue , Magnifique !!! Merci Olivier Rousteing , vous faites partie de cet héritage, j’en suis convaincue , vous finirez au « summum » , vous êtes vraiment fait pour ça !!! Merci , Merci , Merci … Fabuleux !!! ❤️
I was never interested in Balmain but as I learn more and more about the brand and history and especially the current CD. I find myself enjoying what Olivier puts out every season more and more.
