Dude that’s very kind of you to say! Ha no mate, honestly I got most of my inspiration to start doing this in the way I do from the big man himself FSG. His videos are always staggeringly beautiful and it just made me want to have a go!! I use a pretty basic, free open-source video editing program too so to read that you all seem to enjoy the way it looks is just wonderful (I tried using Adobe Premiere and it made my brain melt haha!) :)
New subscriber. Just downloaded this map this morning. I have been using CP for years, but never had three combines running in the field at once. Very impressive start, The included Autodrive route was an incredible bonus. I am going to have to follow along as I am sure going to learn a few things. Well done!!!!

I started on this map too. I love it alot. I choosed farm #7, the farm with 2 cow pens. Short of money allready, but it's like it use to be. Looking forward to follow this serie and I will take hints and tips I see here. 😊

Hwy. Just came across your video. What a production and a fantastic map. I have 2 tiny issues, firstly in my experience up in the north east of Scotland the old fastracs were awful on a plough, they just sat and bounced and spun the wheels if you came to any sort of uphill. Secondly the mover you have bought is a topper, used to top long dead grass and tall weeds in cow fields, to be right you would be better with a trailed vicon, or a lely. There is a nice old claas silage more somewhere too. Excellent video though

Great video! I am also using almost only old machines. But since I am a soloplayer I also use new bigger machines for big fields. The AI helpers on console are sometimes completely useless, so I haven’t the possibility to use more than one harvester for example. Anyway, thanks for the video, it looks amazing.
A wonderful start sir! This map is a cracker! I've started on farm 13. Looking forward to seeing what you get up to on this playthrough. I had looked at that TMR production too, how easy was it to remove the mineral feed ? Was it a true/false in the xml or did you need to delete a line or 2?
Hey Jacksarge! Thankyou very much mate appreciate that! It wasn’t hard at all really mate, I just deleted the couple of lines of code in the xml that related to mineral feed, I had no idea if it would work or not, but hey ho it did! :)
I'm already looking forward to this series! Choosing a farm on this map is a real challenge, and it took me quite a while to settle on the northern farm (number 17, I think) Your setup also looks nice! The mods you found are a perfect match. So, a mod list would be an awesome addon! (at least the ones you talked about for more than a minute. 😉)

I’m still way early in the video but I’ll forget otherwise, if you did want a feed mixer attached to the tractor there is a GEHL one on kingmods which I found which was incredibly similar to one from a 1980’s dairy film I was watching in researching equipment for this map (yes I know I’m a nerd) 😂 my plan is to use that one but weather it up a bit with easy dev tools to give it that vintage look. Sorry I’m sure there’ll be another comment when i get to end but I have the memory of a fish.

I can't imagine how long it takes to produce these incredible Let's Plays. Do you create full time now? Would love a breakdown of how long you game per session, time on editing, do you script or just do all the voiceover on the fly.
Hey Stephen! Thankyou mate that’s very kind! Yeh this is what I’m ‘trying’ to do full time now mate! As for time, it depends on the series/map. Maps with bigger fields ordinarily take longer, but I’ll still squeeze a job in to a 3-4 minute cinematic, so this one for example, with the 3 combines and all the carting took about 2.5 hours to do, plus the intro took me about 3 hours to make this video. That’s not counting the day it took me to setup the map and place the extra bits n choose the equipment haha!! Editing takes me a good few hours and as for scripting, no mate I just babble as I’m recording haha!! :)

Indeed you can but often times the tipColision will be broken and you'll have silage poking through walls. That's why they are setup with angle snap. I don't know if that's the case with those ones.

@@jamesansell007 yeh it kinda is, it’s a modded multi fruit one so it drills everything. I’m not really that happy with it though so I’m still trying to find a more suitable one!
@@Farmer-Sim There is the Massey Ferguson 30 on the modhub. Not the best mod, but it's a decent seeder. 4 meters wide, one of them on the back of each 7810 and you'll have the fields done in no time. And it's correct agewise.
You used AI to harvest the fields, right? How did you get it right that the AI turn in to follow the field curvature to harvest?? that is awesome! Is it only available on PC? im playing on PS 5. Great video!
Hey mate, I’m on PC so every bit of automation you see in my videos is Courseplay and Autodrive. The base game AI workers are a bit daft for my liking, and limited to only one at a time :)
@Farmer-Sim thanks for the reply. It's a pity there is such a big gap in game play for PC vs PS.... PC certainly has all the great mods and tools. Happy farming....

That's a complete guess mind, but considering that the older gen consoles are no longer supported there's a chance the maps could get bigger. It would be great if they do, but there's a WHOLE load of tech 'stuff' that'll decide wether they can or not. For console players, we can only hope :)

I'm trying some UK/British Maps and this is one I'm gonna try and I feel ya trying to find period correct equipment.

Haha seems the sheer amount of choice of farms on here is doing the same for a few of us! I know Kimera took a good while to decide on a farm, as did I…many hours iron-manning around trying to choose haha!! I’ll get back to you on the JCB mate, can’t quite remember where I got that from…

Found an issue with contract for field 53, it gave me field 48 to mow for silage bales then the sell point fishers silage won't accept bales👍🏼
fixed that issue with an update last night mate

@@jamesansell007 yeh it kinda is, it’s a modded multi fruit one so it drills everything. I’m not really that happy with it though so I’m still trying to find a more suitable one!
@@Farmer-Sim There is the Massey Ferguson 30 on the modhub. Not the best mod, but it's a decent seeder. 4 meters wide, one of them on the back of each 7810 and you'll have the fields done in no time.

You used AI to harvest the fields, right? How did you get it right that the AI turn in to follow the field curvature to harvest?? that is awesome! Is it only available on PC? im playing on PS 5. Great video!
Hey mate, I’m on PC so every bit of automation you see in my videos is Courseplay and Autodrive. The base game AI workers are a bit daft for my liking, and limited to only one at a time :)
@Farmer-Sim thanks for the reply. It's a pity there is such a big gap in game play for PC vs PS.... PC certainly has all the great mods and tools. Happy farming....

That's fair enough mate. The whole Console/PC mod availability thing is completely out of my control and as a PC player, with maps as special as this it would be a crime not to play them quite frankly. Appreciate your honesty.

I do like watching you Mr Sealy P farmer cop I apologise if I was out of order earlier I just get so frustrated sometimes because all the decent ones seem to be 4X my apologies no offence was intended in any way
@@BarryH1963 not at all mate don't give it a second thought...I'd like to say the chances 'could' be good?? That's a complete guess mind, but considering that the older gen consoles are no longer supported there's a chance the maps could get bigger. It would be great if they do, but there's a WHOLE load of tech 'stuff' that'll decide wether they can or not. For console players, we can only hope :)
