My cousin grew up in the 2000s with Cœliac disease. Going out to a restaurant was a whole affair where we had to get a physical menu from a drawer (this was before online menus), find something she wanted to eat, call the restaurant and ask if that specific dish had gluten in it. Many times the person at the restaurant had to go ask the chef and sometimes they didn't know what gluten was and we would often have to try multiple restaurants.
To be fair, I actually do appreciate him explaining the joke on that one, I didn't know that at all. Doesn't mean it was funny, but the explanation wasn't worthless at least.
Just adding to the Weed convo. Edibles are dependent on your metabolism, while smoking is not. If you get to high smoking, you can easily sleep it off. You can't sleep off edibles as well because your metabolism slows down when you are sleeping. So you might wake up still high.
stoner here to answer weed questions yes, respiratory weed is way faster. you'll feel high in minutes. it's much easier to control your dosage this way, but it's also not healthy for your lungs. also, if you want to be high for a longer time you'll have to smoke again. edibles are processed slower, even fast edibles will take at least 10 minutes and more likely 30-60 minutes. you take the whole dose at once, but you'll feel high for a longer part of time because your body processes it over time. however, once you pop the edible you're locked in. unless you have done edibles before you won't know how high you'll be so it's much easier to take too much. if you don't take enough, eating more edibles isn't a great solution because you have to wait for the increased high, and it's not easy to know how much more high you'll get (you might be too high for a little bit as your body is processing the tail end of the first dose and the start of the second) my recommendation for people who want to try weed would be trying literally the weakest possible edible you can, like a single 1-5mg dose and nothing more that session.
