If anyone remembers from the English sub “you were the one actually in my life.” Stated by Izuku when he was fighting Katsuki at ground beta, he said that to him. And the thing is The song said “you are my hero” and Katsuki was and still is Izukus hero. All Might was also his hero but Katsuki was actually there because he was present when all night wasn’t at the time.
I like this song because it could be anyone's feelings toward anyone. Like it could be Todoroki appreciating izuku for making him realize he doesn't have to shame his fire. Or Uraraka saying thanks to Izuku for bringing her up. But this almost made me cry like I'm making this song my wedding vows

This song was Izuku singing his feelings about Bakugou and I literally started to cry because he respects him so much yet he gets trash in return.

Well I can see why Deku respects Bakugo, considering they keep a secret together. They know they can trust each other despite Bakugo's attitude, which has been changing little by little. I think Bakugo also understood that Deku was physically weak which is why he was picked on so much. Then when Deku saves Bakugo despite being physically weak, Baku doesn't understand how it's possible. It frustrates him. Then after he trains, he sees there is more to being a hero than having the best quirk.

Ok I think my hero academia is one of my all time favorite anime. All the characters are handled fantastically well, the plot is extremely exciting, all the characters have unique personalities and quirks, the openings are downright amazing, and Deku is the most well handled protagonist literally ever. You covered the openings well, and that just makes the show better

I just realized if you listen to the first ending you'll see it's Deku's POV and the last line "Even if I don't bloom, am I a Hero to you?" Could be Deku asking Ochako if she sees him as a Hero. Now in this ending it feels like it's in her POV where she kinda responds to him especially with the end line "Go ahead I'll follow all because you're my hero."
It's almost like these endings Nate and Cristina covered are really Deku and Ochako's feelings for each other.
