There is conspiracy theory for this, EUROPE gets wiped out around 2029, rich westerners flee to the middleeast countries for safety. After all they have spent years getting rid of thoses countries figjting age men.

Taxation at a 70 year high, financially crippling housing costs, declining educational standards, uncontrolled mass immigration, rising crime. Just a few reasons why anyone who can is leaving the UK, not just the wealthy.
And Labour's answer to the high taxation largely imposed because of covid largesse is to put taxes up even more while hitting our pensioners.
Perhaps Lord Ali can be tapped up for a few pounds to help the treasury coffers? Maybe it could be a loan?
I think with education its always been like this however the agenda was less obvious.

I think school needs remodeling completely.
Primary school is fine. Reading, writing and basic math.
After that you should begin specialising.

Religion should not become a political issue, in Ireland it was Catholics vs Protestants, the way things are going it will soon become Christians vs Islam like is happening in Israel two Religion fighting each other. In my opinion I believe that's one of the reasons people are leaving. The reality is no matter where you go Islam is turning up there and its not wanted in many places because of the potential problems in the future. The Government could ban it all together but it is most certainly a problem in the coming years based on cultural differences.

Can confirm most people I speak to want to leave. I am a lecturer and most intelligent people want to leave and people who have done PhDs here from other countries are confused about the state of the nation and are dying to go back. That is the smart ones who work, not the once coming here with their hand out.

Correct - a recent study found that even though "economically" the UK is 7th in the world by GDP - the reality is that the "economic standard" of UK citizens PER CAPITA we are 27th. - that puts the UK OUTSIDE the top 10% of countries worldwide. We are on the verge of dropping out of the "1st world nation" listings, and this has happened IN ONE GENERATION.

I have medication for diabetes 1 which is 8 insulin a month, i have epilepsy which is 3 tablets a day, i have high blood pressure so have one tablet a day for that. Now if i have to pay for my meds on my pension then all i can say is that i will end up in hospital and so will many others. The presenter is out of order saying that why should them in there twenties pay for us in the late sixties, someone needs to tell her when we was in our twenties that is what we did also we have paid in to the system longer than some she is talking has worked 😤

Also - how much is spent on illegal immigrants - I saw an advert earlier for the RNLI stating that 6 out of 10 launches are paid for by posthumous donations, donations in wills. If the donors knew that their hard earned cash was going to be used launching boats to help illegal immigrants enter their old country and get housed, fed and ultimately let free, over and above pensioners heating allowances, prescription charges, they would turn in their graves. (or urns - as the case may be)!

I had a meeting with a financial advisor yesterday and he told me he's been extremely busy dealing with enquiries from many of his clients who are now actively working towards leaving the country. In his words, these are not hugely wealthy people, just folk that have done ok for themselves. The government are stupid, we have never had as mobile a workplace as we do today, a lot of people don't have to live in any particular country for their work so they have the flexibility to up sticks and leave, ultimately this attitude towards taxing anyone who has anything is going to cause a sizeable reduction in income for the exchequer.

Minimum wage is £11.44 per hour and on a 37 hour week gives someone 22K per year. The average wage is £35,830 per annum with many screaming its not enough to live on! As a single pensioner I get £11,743 per annum from the Government, but apparently that is more than enough to live on? I have paid a lot of money in taxes over my life as have a lot of others, but the Government seems to be more interested in giving it away vast sums to others than taking care of its own citizens. Why?
You're taxed £100 a week on min wage, so take £5000 off that £22k.

If we can't afford state pensions for the people who equally worked and paid into the system on the promise of being looked after when they are done then you MUST cut the public sector pensions, there golden pension pacages cost WAY more than the average pensioner.
