Exactly, Norwich trying to 'outpass teams ' doesn't really work ,Spurs let NC have the ball & waited till they lost it - even a 10 man Newcastle team were unthreatened with NCs sideways passing possession.
Totally agree , with City playing 4,5,1 it was making Norwich too passive . With Pukki and Idah up front City can press higher up the pitch especially as Sargent wide right is so industrious thus helping to pressure opponents further from goal. Seeing Norwich play Man City away last time in the Prem it was farcical seeing the team pushed back constantly and defending so deep .
Lovely to see Byram back in the team on his day he's are best Left Back when fully fit and also Deano seems to prefer him over Dimi which is quite interesting
