You can use "Audio Sidechain" as well as "Audio Rate" Modulator to side chain almost everything inside Bitwig Studio as well as the automatable parameters of Plug In's like VST(i)'s....
Lol... Certainly for people who want to make digital electronic music can appreciate the modulation options. But not necessarily just edm at all. And certainly not only those people. Yes it is probably the most versatile daw. But, you don't have to do any of that modulation stuff you do not have to touch it and it's still an excellent recording daw. . It has all the features the same as any other daw for recording instruments as well. Quite well actually. So no you got it wrong.
And again it is good example of how much bitwig developers don’t give a care. They gave you all those glorified MSEG (in 2023 when people been asking them in 2016 but it is another topic) but forgot to give you manual midi input into MSEG. Now for sidechaning with MSEG on project level it is useless for anything other than straight 4x4 rhythm. Well done bitwig.
That's, just not true whatsoever. Where did you come up with that? You can use midi or audio rate sidechain on project level. Not just 4x4 That's absurd. Not sure where you came up with that. He just didn't do that in this video. But anyone who understands how to sidechain should've seen they're was a spot right there to add another audio track. Just because he did it one way doesn't mean your CANT do it another way. He even said you could use midi data or audio data to side chain. You just werent following.
This is very helpful. Thank you for doing this.

Bitwig with it´s random pattern and modulation stuff is more for sounddesign and edm nerds with too much time.
