We were brutal to poor Chuck E Cheese this time... hope that kid got a raise!
I had 3 birthday parties at Chuck E Cheese (5th,6th,7th) and I remember for this one parents dropping their kids off at my house and we watched the previous year that we went and that's how we all already knew the bday song. Also, the following years they instructed us to follow Chuck E Cheese around as he was singing, but that was because we were the only party the past two years. So, the reason why we are chasing after Chuck so much is because that's what we had done the two years prior. We just didn't know and my mom didn't stop us because she too remembered the past two years that we did that. However, the dancers, chuck and the company never said anything to us so... that's cool.
Hi! Great video of Chuck E’s in Waterbury... I grew up in CT and this video brings back so many memories that I had long since forgotten about. Thank you for posting and making my day :)
That makes me so happy! You are so welcome!! 💕
@@caitlinb828 nice video
Darn, i thought it was bossier city when it went to the gameroom 16:02
Definitely one of the best home videos from the back in the day CEC I’ve seen and call me boring but I’ve seen almost every one on YT, just love sitting back watching memories past as I was born in 1990 and went to CEC quite a bit from 93-97 and in maybe 2018 I thought CEC was just all gone until I seen one here in Indy just thrown in a shopping plaza outlet and I walked past and saw just the new weird looking Chuck’e as the one animatronic and some big screens around him and was like uhhhhhhhh😒 WHAT IS THIS??? and just this year I decided watching the history of CEC and ShowBiz and seeing hundreds of CEC 90s home videos that surely take me back to happier, simpler times, no body on devices just having face to face fun and enjoying life in every moment! Thank you for uploading this video!
I was born in 2008 and my Chuck E Cheese's was the one in Webster TX. It opened in March 1993 (which surprised me) and I didn't start going there until 2011. I was freaking fascinated with just about everything. I stopped going in September 2018 (5th grade) and it just breaks my heart cuz I didn't realize until like 5 months ago that they had renovated my Chuck E Cheese's 5 years prior. I wish they hadn't renovated it cuz I loved the Studio C Alpha (which is what literally made them different from other pizza places)
Wow, I’m literally 20 years older than you. 1988. It’s wild that y’all are teens now.
I graduated high school in 2006 and remember it like it was yesterday lmao.
It goes fast. It’s weird.
Sorry about your renovated CEC, it’s definitely not the same as it used to be.
@@caitlinb828 Thx. Yeah, it took me like 5 years to realize that my chuck e cheese's was renovated
This Chuck E. Cheese closed this year :( forever, it still had the stage
It did last a whole lot longer than the earlier Pizza Time Theatre location at 983 Wolcott Street; that location first opened in 1982 but closed after just two years due to the '83 video game crash.
650 Wolcott Street, opened on September 29, 1992; replaced the original Chuck E. Cheese's (Pizza Time Theatre) location at 983 Wolcott Street that was in business for a short time (from 1982-84).
Here all the laughter and the fun the kids are having in the 90s now they are all grown up
Yes we are... I'm 32 now but this still feels like yesterday.
@@caitlinb828 your lucky to be a 80s kid I was born in 2009 sadly I’m not a 90s kid
@@darveystrozier4780 I was born at the end of 1988 and was only one years old for most of 1990 so technically I am a 90s kid not 80s 😉 it was a blast I must say. A much more colorful world that’s for sure.
@@caitlinb828 did that chuck e chesse location close
@@caitlinb828 Waterbury ct chuck e chesse did close
The 90s kid in me was freaking out over the Sky Dancer! I got that same one in 1995.
I’m currently trying to find them on eBay for a decent price to get my 3 year old for Christmas. Lol. Apparently they redid them. Knowing my mom, she still has my originals (but we are no contact so I’ll never know)
@@caitlinb828thank you for sharing your childhood with us. I also had a birthday party at chucks e cheese in 1995. But the mascot scared me so I hid under the table. 😂 I remember going to so many parties there in the mid nighties. Our chuckie cheese in Indianapolis looked very similar to this one. The cake tower was so epic. They don’t go all out with the party decor like they used to. It was such a more innocent time.
@@rachelhimes7715 At least u were around in 1995 (I wasn't born until 2008)
My Chuck E cheese's was the one in Webster TX (which opened March 1993) I would absolutely
love going there between 2011- 2018. God how much I loved the Studio C Alpha
Hi Caitlin! I was born in 1996 in Texas, and my Mom used to tell me stories about when she was an adult, she had fun at our original Chuck E Cheeses location in Texarkana from the 80’s-1991 after work with her friends, and when I was in 3rd grade, fixing to go into 4th in summer 2005, Chuck E. Cheese’s returned to Texarkana in our shopping mall area and I got to have my first fun birthday celebration there and have the fun my Mom and my older cousins experienced when they went to our original location. We still have our Studio C format to this day and age in Texarkana, and we’re thankful we didn’t move up to the new dance floor format, where there are no animatronics.
What an awesome story, thanks for sharing!! My little sister was born in 1996, 8 year difference!
@@caitlinb828 your little sister and I are the last of the millennials because the cutoff year was 1996, and Gen Z started in 1997
@@amberjacobs1996 yes ma’am. My little brother didn’t quite make it. He’s 1998.
@@caitlinb828 my little cousin was born in 1998 in Gen Z and was the last boy in our family to attend my school two years behind me for awhile until more little cousins were born in the 2000’s
That cec song is a singing voice acter from 1995 7:56

Caithylan. Yes that is great way to spell Caitlin
Oh My GOD…. That was a running joke in my family for so long!
They must’ve been on something when they wrote it lmao!
4:48 What is this song name, or does someone have it in High Quality??
I don’t think it’s a song I think it’s just a transitional music bit.
i wonder what the background people are doing now
I could only tell you what all the kids are up to. lol. Well, most of them anyways.

27 years later lol
Yuuuup. I’m old now. 😏
No more barbie dolls
Do you still have the barbies and stuff you got that day? (the ones in the video)
If I had any of them it would be the move n groove Barbie and it would be at my moms house but not sure if she still kept them for me. The camping Barbie I remember getting but don’t really know if it made it home from the party. I had the sky dancers for a long time and the Barbie head. The doll was cool because the beads on her crown changed color in water.
Lol
What location?
