VALORANT NEW MAP TEASER - Underground Map?

VALORANT should be adding a new map soon, and based on all of the teasers and everything we have so far, it seems like it will be an underground map, as it's referred to as both a secret cavern and an elder grotto.
We also have to wonder what's going to happen to the VALORANT Map Pool, as we already have Fracture, Pearl and Haven all removed, so how many of those even get to come back if there's also a new map. And which of the current maps will be removed?

Map pools are the most useless thing ever. Overwatch added them but removed them quickly since the community hated them. But we have riot who ignore the community so that's amazing.

I’m going to believe your comment is making the map like CS Nuke. Too many problems with how agent abilities work, how would you brim smoke or clove smoke if the maps are stacked? And if you suggest flipping the minimap depending on where you are then it would be impossible for them to smoke the opposing site if they are on the opposite site.

this game rotation thing is so annoying imo. if a map is unbalanced or something, its okay if they take it out. otherwise I'd be absolutely great to have the other map in the rotation as well. But thats just my opinion. Otgher ppl have a lot of maps they dont like and they dont want to dodge more maps as they're doing rn

The mal rotation is good for new players. Its hell to try and memorize 10 maps at once when starting the game.
Also its good for proplayers so they can spend more time learning, strategizing on maps. Fewer maps means that the maps that are in rotation are played to the best. I dislike that the rotations are so slow though. I think the rotation should change every 6 months or so.

But I’m kinda new too. I play active for like 3 months now. If you really wanna learn the game, the maps, etc you can do this in a short period of time (at least the basics)

Okay: Map pool rant.
Breeze sucks. We can hopefully all agree with that. Its buy an op and avoid the viper wall thats gonna be there every single round. Its boring, rotating takes almost 30 seconds, the meta is stale and it in general needs changes to be playably fun.
Icebox needs changes, and big ones that is. Main issues with Icebox are that mid is IMPOSSIBLE to do a split with, so its either 4/5 man a/b and potentially 1 lurker mid, but never 2-3-4 people going mid to crunch on a site. Instead its main hits and fights, with the same strats, not taking b´s actual site EVER because just plant safe and spam from main and yellow. A doesnt have a choke point, if an attack teams knows what theyre doing, they can peek any defender angle from like 15 different angles, which doesnt make sense. Mid needs to be easier for attackers to take and sites WAY harder, potentially with choke points, if you wanna create an fps map experience similar to old fashioned maps like ascent, which people enjoy.
Sunset needs changes, already, so Id take it out and put it back in when those issues are fixed. The b site is a JOKE. Seeing it play out in pro play was ridiculous. How to win attack rounds on sunset: your duelist pushes in, wingman plant on the ramp that goes up to backsite in front of main, smoke yourself in main of and the 4-5 people alive spam through the smoke, because the space the enemy have to defuse is so narrow, and pushing into main as a defender is basically impossible (enjoy clearing all 20 angles they can be at).
Lotus is not feeling great and I feel like in general Ive heard a lot of people say they dont particularly like lotus, not to the point where its unplayable but its kinda eh. Ascent needs to go, as it is in desperate need for changes. There is obvious problems with it that have always been there, but riot have been afraid to change something because the community likes the map so much.
INSTEAD:
Haven was always fine, interesting ideas and there was pretty much zero reason to remove it...
Fracture was extremly unique, interesting and had some dynamics I personally really enjoyed and in general make a great addition to the game. Pearl is my personal favourite map in the game although its very much unbalanced and b long needs some changes, same with the b site in general. A is actually really nicely balanced, but when B is easier, just go B. But nothing that couldnt be changed if they would do some smaller-ish changes to the map. I dont know anything about the new map, I just hope they find an interesting quirk for it that doesnt have to be annoying like the map being 3 times as big like breeze.
