🔥I've used some commercial Sony Headphones that were wireless but based on FM, so there was a lot of hiss sound. I've made my own homemade Bluetooth based Headphones. Ther don't look as good and the sound quality is not perfect, but they work for me :)

Why go through all the effort of designing a case to hold everything and then hot glue it all in? You could have taken a few extra minutes to add mounts into the print.

You dont actually need an amplifier for the original sprakers in the headphones, as long as its not below 16 ohms, i made the same thing , except i put have put it in a small box with a 600mah battery , and a jack for connecting any ear or headphones. Heck even jack to jack with a car amp. Results were great, and it doubles as handsfree calling option.

Stock up on MAX97220 for your headphone projects. That's a hifi chip used on most Creative Sound Blaster cards. There are very cheap boards available from China. In fact cheaper than TI DirectPath headphone chips. It has preset 6db gain that can be changed. It doesn't need output capacitors. It generates its own negative supply voltage from positive just with a ceramic capacitor on the board. It has excellent drive current to power low impedance headphones and extended voltage swing to power higher impedance ones, making it very versatile.
Use suitable headphone capsule rather than mini wideband speakers. I have not tested them personally, but i have seen 39mm headphone driver from Monacor International (Europe) and 40mm and 50mm drivers from Peerless by Tymphany, who also have numerous distributors in Europe and USA. The 50mm driver even seems pretty advanced with vented polepiece and paper coated zone, and has great reviews. Designing good sounding headphones is hard and reliant on iteration and intuition and there is no straight up recipe, so good luck!

If someone is looking upto making such modification to old headsets, you don't need an external amplifier, connect the speakers directly to the bluetooth receiver module. It gives decent sound, fit in less space and have charging port on board. Nice video though. 👍

FYI: descent is moving from a high position to a lower position; such as going down a later, a mountain, or similar.

or use B0505S, to isolate BT receiver from the amp. This is the pb everybody is facing with DIY BT build + Amp!!
Perso when I saw the intro, I though why to keep the shitty battery of the BT module?? this battery is so small and do not last at all. I know them well. And use another big battery for the Amp?? The pb he is going to face is that BT battery is gona be empty fast, while Amp's battery will still be able to provide jus!! Why struggle with 2 Batts?? 2 bats means 2 charging module, and mean 2 separate indicator (Charging/Charge Completed) !! damn!! Just use a good bat for both module, and use an isolator, B0505S does the job. I am sure you may know about this components...

The battery will last many times longer. Why build something mediocre when you can build a high fidelity headphone for the same effort and a few dollars more?

Hi, Nice video like usual :-) I just don't have a 3d printer :-( Maybe one day. But I ordered those cheap earpods from aliexpress a while ago. I was thinking of using those not for a head phone but for 2 bigger BT (TWS) speakers that can stand a few meters appart. So I have old fashioned true stereo. But I never got arround. I was kinda shocked how bad those amplifiers you showed are. Because I was planning of using those single channel audio amplifiers but I realize now they might suck big time. Anyway maybe someday you can do a video about using super cheap earpods to make a True Wireless Stereo speaker set. How far appart can those earpod go anyway? Is that also 10 meter?

Man I had a similar issue try using a 20k (believe me it really works or any hissing noise )or more on the input of amplifier this should fix most issues . If not then make sure you have a good vcc. I also had same issues when I was using Bluetooth module with amplifier then I did was use a diode to rectify and use a big really big cap for smoothing like 22000uf . Hope it helps. As as far as ground loop isolator is concerned you can make one by making a 1-1 transformer and the ferrite ring can be taken from a AC filter on smps . Just make sure the impedance is ok , and try to keep the resistance above 100 ohms

Why dont you use a bluetooth tx with audio profile capabilities instead of an analog input? You are doing D/A- A/D and D/A again. Lots of conversion added noise

Small suggestion - I think you need to upload your video little bit early , because I think most of your viewers are from India and Asia , 9pm ist will be the great time for you to upload the video , I think more people will watch your video at that time . And the content like this will be shared to most people.

Bluetooth module + any small size battery (old Nokia battery are prefect) + TP4056, this combo does the job.
Stuff all that in any PC headphone and u good to go wireless!

check my most recent comment for more info... just below the vid, for the powering part... one batt does the job ;)

Extremely dumb project and overengineered a lot. Starting from wrong Bluetooth module selection. Normal BT already contains amplifier and battery charger, so you need only BT and that's it. Laptops starting from 2010 already contains BT as well, no need in ugly USB-minijack adapter.

Using Two batteries when you can simply short the power inputs of amp and Bluetooth modules is Disgusting (Since the BT use very low current). Overall I like the video

    • @andrewmanti235
      @andrewmanti235 4 года назад

'Disgusting' that's a strong word ! Don't comment something that you don't understand!
BT and speaker with the same power supply will create a ground loop and produce nasty interference sound! you either need 2 batteries, or a dc power isolator if using a single battery! These isolators aren't dirt cheap, but they aren't that costly either. If you look closely the circuit he used already had a small battery installed, so he used it rather buying an isolator!
      Learn to be humble Son!

@@andrewmanti235 Thanks for the comment, English is my second language, That's why i lack the knowledge of which is rude and which is not. very sorry for that, Now about the ground loop problem, it arises only if the amplifier module and BT module is too far away (using cables to send audio) or when the audio cables or connections are too much exposed(or bare).
Can you please recommend me a word that i can replace for. Thanks again.🙂
