My name is Jack, and I'm one of the three boys who went exploring the forest that day. My best friends, Tim and Mark, were with me, along with our classmate, Emily. We were all 15 or 16, and we were feeling adventurous after a long day at school.
I had gotten a detention for the next day, so we decided to blow off some steam and explore the forest. We were having a great time, laughing and joking around, until we stumbled upon an abandoned shack.
It was old and rundown, with broken windows and creaky doors. But what really caught our attention was the old man sitting in the window, just watching TV. It was weird to see someone living in such a rundown place, but we shrugged it off and decided to investigate.
As soon as we entered the shack, we knew we had made a mistake. The air was musty and damp, and the floorboards creaked with every step we took. We could hear strange noises coming from the other rooms, and we could feel eyes watching us.
We split up to explore the different rooms, and that's when everything went wrong. Emily went into one room and never came back out. Tim and Mark went to look for her, leaving me alone in the main room.
I could hear strange whispering and footsteps coming from the other rooms, and I felt like I was being watched from all directions. Suddenly, I heard a blood-curdling scream coming from the room Emily had entered.
I ran to the room and saw something that I will never be able to forget. Emily was lying on the ground, her body twisted and broken. Tim and Mark were nowhere to be seen, and I could hear strange noises coming from the other rooms.
I knew I had to get out of there, but as I was running towards the door, I felt a cold hand grab my ankle. I fell to the ground, and when I looked up, I saw the old man from the window standing over me.
He had a twisted grin on his face, and his eyes were filled with madness. I tried to scream, but his hand was clamped tight over my mouth.
The next thing I knew, I woke up outside the shack, with no memory of how I got there. The sun was setting, and I was alone in the forest. I ran as fast as I could back to my house, my heart pounding in my chest.
When I got home, I called the police and told them everything that had happened. They went to investigate the shack, but they never found any evidence of what we had seen.
To this day, I still have nightmares about that abandoned shack in the forest, and I wonder what happened to Tim and Mark. I will never forget that day, and I will never go back into the forest again.

These past few videos been giving me the 2021 IMR feels back that i haven't felt in a while and i LOVE it💯💙 this one specifically is by far the best one the Serious/Scary tone of each story along with the eerie background music is quality Horror i legit had chills the entire video we need more of this its Stories like this that made me hooked to this channel when i first discovered it

How did I know that the nun was gonna double cross that "father?" That's the thing with the devil, he never plays fair and will pull the rug from right under you at any chance he gets. These stories were really good by the way.

You said Bay Area. I live in the Bay Area. The Bay Area is a place in California. I like living here. When my dad when I went to live with him he moved me to Eureka California. That was the countryside. I live there a lot longer than I lived anywhere else as a child but then as an adult I came back to the Bay area to live with my mother again. I still love the countryside but I also love the Bay Area so I'm a mix of country and city. Thanks for the stories.
