I wonder who makes it. I would guess Hogue, they are really good with magnacut and with otf’s, but the Kershaw Livewire they make comes with magnacut for mid 200’s I believe. I’ve seen the 20cv version for like 220.
Perfect knife to put the aftermarket micarta scales on that make the handle much more comfortable and neutral. Best upgrade I’ve done on my minimalist.
Because people dont want to spend premium prices on knives made of 8cr13mov steels, crkt has done a lot of knives that were more expensive costing than the materials oughta make it cost @@Mridgwell
There literally is a full-size ritual in 14c28n. Lots of people like assisted, lots don’t. Everyone is entitled to their own preferences, but perhaps this knife isn’t for you if you aren’t looking to carry an assisted?
CRKT has some great looking knives coming out this year. I don't really understand how the Jade G10/Aluminum/S35VN Q is $195 (way too much) and the Carbon Fiber/Titanium/Magnacut Q is $225??? The Titanium Q price makes sense but the Aluminum Q does not make any sense. Regardless, great job Ryan and George. Glad to see CRKT coming out with more premium knives!
lol microtech makes a few otf’s under 300, I think even a couple have Mc. The real issue is the Kershaw livewire with magnacut for 250ish. If like to know who is making the otf. I’m betting it’s Hogue, they do great with magnacut and they make a better otf than microtech at the base level. Not taking into account the new zero blade play microtech
Huge miss on only offering the upgraded steels on pink and purple. You are appealing to the smallest consumer group of pocket knives. Who is charge over there? Nobody had the balls to raiser their hand and say, why only pink? I’d order one asap if I could get the upgraded steels with some natural or green micarta.
D2 is a great everyday use steel the issue with it usually is a bad heat treat from too large of a production run. But if it has a decent heat treat, which I would hope crkt would do, it is a wholly viable option… for the right price of course.
CRKT, please please please please release the minimalist like in higher quality steel, even a d2 or 8CR would be great. I don’t wanna pay $100 for the 154cm version. Something else, please!
It’s because these are still in development for the most part, they probably don’t even know what they are going to charge. On top of that I learned a long time ago that in the knife world, for the most part means absolutely nothing compared to what they sell for, I’ve seen as much as 40% less than msrp for street price on knives.
CRKT as a company has one of the lowest percentages of knives available for ambidextrous carry of all makers. And the 2025 release is no exception. The M-16 is one exception and looks like a nice knife with a good lock. I know that for the CEO it depends on the model. But along with Boker, and Protech, The company lacks the commitment to make their knives available widely for left-handed carry. Thankfully, we have other makers like Benchmade, Spyderco and Cold Steel That take care of their left-handed customers
You brought SOME innovation to the M16 line again with the cross bar lock like you did a few years back by introducing the deadbolt lock into the series and finally upgraded that AWFUL clip, but then you go an ruin it by using shitty chinese D2...just use 14c28n...its stainless, tough, and not bad to sharpen. Come on CRKT. Also you use 14C28N in only the pink and fusia models of that new squid line...and then shitty D2 in the color ways that will actually sell 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ You guys need a new product development team.
The OTF is $300 btw for those wondering.
Ouch. . . Thanks

Is the $300 msrp or street price from a retailer?
@@chrisjosekuehlyep oem is hogue
No thanks
The Minimalist Nessmuk white satin Sandvik is the hot cake here 5:00
Perfect knife to put the aftermarket micarta scales on that make the handle much more comfortable and neutral. Best upgrade I’ve done on my minimalist.
Shits hot. Instant buy for me
They need to call up Hogue and have them make some more crossbar lock knives for them to slap the CRKT logo on.
CRKT FINALLY trying again!!!! YES!!!🔥🔥🔥
Some really good designs this year! 🔥
That minimalist with those flytanium handles will be a knockout!!
That ivory one is nice too
Only new model so far is the OTF. It's the same knives with a different color or lock.
Definitely love my Crkt collection it’s not big but it’s getting there
I finally found the Minimalist I must have, I want it to be my backup skinning knife. If it had pink scales it would be perfect.
85 Bucks for 420j is robbery
I am once again begging them to release a version of the full size ritual in at least 14c28n and without the lame assisted opening
They seem to be more of a soft steel gimmicky company. Lately they’re finally getting some better steels.
Just get a real one from Folts
Why?

How is 12c27n tougher than 3v steel? 🤔
That walker is cool
Q & Tuna should get together creating Hybrids.

The difference in price is negligible between cf and aluminum and cf is definitely easier to mill than aluminum.
Knives can be expensive btw for those wondering.
I'm actually not mad at crkt for once 🤷🏻♂️ Hell yeah
I think i've got a Ria in 12c27 ..! ^^
I want that M16 -14xd when will it available
What,,, the 12c27 is more resistant than cpm 3v ..? Strange. But cool ! ^^
We Need The BT Fighter Tanto in D2 of better steel with liners!
Bring back the Heiho! Someone stole mine 😢
I’d like a M16-03 with tan micarta or tan G-10 and a black blade
Who told you 12c27 was tougher than 3V ?
Do the 12C27 is better than D2 ..? ^^
A $300 OTF with magnacut? Microtech needs to take some notes.

Missed opportunity. Nessmin
It's a shame you didn't tell the prices ..! ^^
I love that pink OTF so much I'm considering selling a kidney to buy one. It's your fault BladeHQ if I don't survive!! 😁
Leider sieht man die
Messer nur zu 20 %
Sollen wir die 2 Jungs kaufen?

the bottom of the screen is where the subtitles go. Can't see anything you are doing down there if I want to know what you are saying
Helloo y'all 🤠 🇳🇱
D2 in 2025? 😮
Better than the shit they usually use
D2 is still a completely usable steel in 2025.... Absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Stop crying
D2 is a great everyday use steel the issue with it usually is a bad heat treat from too large of a production run. But if it has a decent heat treat, which I would hope crkt would do, it is a wholly viable option… for the right price of course.
This is crkt not Crk

They just showed a 12c version.
@@chrisjosekuehlonly on the limited exclusive one. I mean all the lineup have better steel
154cm is better than D2
@ I know that. But I don’t wanna pay $100 for a minimalist. A D2 version would be around $40, much more attainable
When I pay an OTF it has to have some meat to it
We need convex grinds, not hollow grinds, on knives. It's simply superior.
Why doesn’t Chris reeves knives do convex edges
Just watched SMKWs video on CRKTs new lineup and they didn't talk prices on that video either... Not a good sign.
It’s CRKT so you know you are going to be getting something with 8cr and AUS-8 level steel but paying S35VN prices.
It’s because these are still in development for the most part, they probably don’t even know what they are going to charge. Sandvick premium steel 😂

Yeah, as an amateur leather crafter that Straight looks really nice!
Not a single thumbhole blade
Crazy Voiceover...eventhough I somehow like CRKT....
Why not Nitro V ? It's Chinese and better than D2 ..! As the 14c28n ..! ^^
Cool OTF. but super Illegal in WA state. RIP
That otf looks super thin and gas station colorways. Yuck
Everything CRKT does, Kershaw does better- a LOT better.

It's kind to put the French translation. But the traduction is realy not good. I understand better in English ... ^^
These knives are trash. Get with the program Crkt
