My old co-worker used to let me use his Blue Bottle pourover. It's nice to use and can obviously make a great cup, but I still think the ol' plastic v60 wins. The plastic doesn't absorb as much heat as the ceramic, which keeps your brew water hotter, and the more open design if the v60 allows for freer flow of the water through the bed, so it may be more difficult to dial in but once you get it, it's very difficult to beat. The Blue bottle pourover is basically just a ceramic Kalita Wave. I will try to put out a comparison soon of the v60 vs Kalita Wave
Thoughts on Blue Bottle's pour over vs Hario?
